I am a loyal Divine Nails customer, and am a big fan of their $ 38.00 mani/pedi special.(I always add the $ 12 for shellac on my nails.) My nails and toes are always perfect and last for a few weeks. I have never ran into any cleanliness issues here, if anything they take great care of making sure everything is clean and each customer is comfortable. I have also been here as part of a work retreat, they are very accommodating with larger groups. Overall, you can’t go wrong with the price, service, and product!

Ok… So my first experience with this place was great. I got my wedding nails done here and they were exactly what I had hoped for; an ombré French manicure done in shellac. Only place in the city I could find who would do it. Came back after the wedding to get the same nails done and the nail technician(a different person than last time) had NO idea what she was doing… And I ended up with nails nothing like what I wanted and was told by the owner they had no time to fix it. I was charged full price($ 60 for a pedi + shellac manicure) and told I could get a discount if I wanted to come back and get them fixed. WHAT?! The owner made it seem like it was my fault for not booking with the same person as last time. Now, the more I look at my nails, the more I notice the poor paint job and completely lopsided file job… It’s just horrible. I’m so disappointed and feel completely ripped off.

Despite some of the reviews I have it a shot. First time in my life I’ve had a 20 min pedicure. Really 20min? I used to watch a full movie at my old place. If you’re short, it’s so uncomfortable. The seats are too far back. They give you a pillow or two but it’s still so uncomfortable. Will not be going back. I will say the décor is really nice.

There is no point in paying $ 39 for shellac manicure at this place. Nice One nails spa just across the street(Basic Food plaza on Merivale/Baseline) charges $ 7 less, and the quality is absolutely the same, if not better. If you have shellac manicure done every 2 weeks than you save $ 168 per year.

Called in the AM and was able to get an appointment later in the day for my Mom and I to have pedi’s(Mom had a mani too). They offered hot tea. Great service and quality pedicures.

I’ve been trying to find a good nail salon in Ottawa for months, and I finally found it here! Prices at reasonable and the staff is super friendly and informative. Their manicures are meticulous and beautifully done. I also got nail art done, which was better than I’d expected. I get compliments on how nice my manicures look all the time after I go there. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!

This is my go-to spa. They do such a great job and if you do have a problem, they go above and beyond to remedy it. Exceptional customer service! The staff are very skilled, they know what they’re doing! I would recommend this place to anyone! I bring all my friends here!

Great little spot! It’s in a little strip mall overlooking Merivale! Music was playing and there were a few people still there, we called on a Sunday afternoon, for 3 manis and pedis, they stayed open late for us! They have a long line of comfy chairs for pedicures with plenty of fashion mags! There are a bunch of manicure stations in a row on the other side of the room, and the chandeliers they have are just beautiful!

Wow. There are so many wonderful things to say about this place, I’m not quite sure where to start. I’ve visited many a nail salon and have had too many pedicures to count, but this place is absolutely my new favourite. Located on Merivale in the Nicastro’s plaza(not to be confused with DN Nails which is literally across the parking lot near Jumbo Video), this place is totally unassuming from outside. Walk in however, and you’ll feel relaxed almost immediately. With beautiful décor, tiled foot baths and adorable crystal chandeliers this is by far the loveliest looking place I’ve come to get my feet touched and polished. Oftentimes the one thing that makes me feel uncomfortable about getting my nails done is the complete lack of interacting with the staff(mostly due to a language barrier), but the staff here were lovely. We called at around 4:45(they closed at 5, so we didn’t have our hopes up), and we asked if they could fit three of us in for pedicures. They said they’d be happy to have us and wouldn’t mind staying open. WHAT?! So lovely! We were greeted by Mike, the owner, and each of us were promptly seated in their plush leather chairs with our feet is beautiful blue glass bowls. I fully expected a hurried massage and a quick coat of polish, but this was heaven. The nail artists took their time with scrubs, creams and files then coated our feet with a blue peppermint clay foot mask, wrapped us in steaming towels and left us for a few minutes before an AMAZING foot and calf massage that was so wonderful I wanted to cry. After applying my dark purple polish, my lovely nail artist was so precise in cleaning up and mistakes and even gallantly helped me down from the foot bath. Tons of recent magazines, tea, and soothing music make for a wonderful experience. Literally my ONLY complaint is that they don’t have massage chairs. Granted, the chairs they have a re beautiful and comfortable, but I always look forward to a back massage when I get my feet done(wow, oh wow, first world problems…). The price seemed a tiny bit steep($ 67 for two pedicures — mine and Fauve G’s), but I think it’s worth it. This is most definitely my go-to pedicure place and I can’t wait to go back.

Clean and sanitized place. Receptionist not the friendliest. BUT… man doing my nails ruined my nails. he did the exact opposite I asked and my nail beds were ruined. I had to go to a cosmetic place to get these nails removed and they are still sore from the crap he put on them. I looked like I had them done at a cheap strip mall when I left. Save your $ and go somewhere where your nails will be treated properly. I now have weeks before my nails will look(and feel) good.

Had previously left a positive review for this establishment after my very first visit, but have learned since my first visit that the customer service is not at all what I thought it was. I spoke too soon. I’ve been turned down TWICE now for services, both on the phone and in person when I’d already made the 20 minute drive out there from downtown Ottawa. I suppose they don’t want my money! The second time I had my nails done there, they balked when I walked in the door(even thought they don’t claim to be ‘by appointment only’) and almost turned me away. For some reason, they decided to work on my nails anyway, but the last 20 minutes were extremely rushed as other customers began to file in, and the quality wasn’t what it should have been. It’s been between 2 – 3 weeks since my last visit, and my nails look horrid. They are peeling and 4 nails have cracked off at the upper corners, leaving my nailbed exposed and sore. I definitely will not be returning, especially now that they’ve made it abhorrently clear that they don’t value my business. I suggest that they take their customers more seriously in the future if they plan on keeping people around.
