Great atmosphere, family friendly, and delicious food!
They gave me the wrong dinner, cheese pizza instead of vegetarian like I actually ordered, but lots of apologies later and a free desert, and I was happy. A little on the expensive side, but a great place to take a loved one on a date.

I have only been once :(The seating is rather odd… loose pillows on the seats reminded me more of somebody’s living room. We were the only people in the restaurant and I waited 5 minutes for a glass of water. The waitress said she was waiting for the coffee to brew that one of the others at our table had ordered. I ordered a cup of soup to start and then a main… the waitress assumed I wanted it all together. You know what they say about assuming. Half of my food was cold as I didn’t want it all at the same time. I believe I could have quite enjoyed the food if the service hadn’t been so crappy. It’s unfortunate really, that first impressions have such a huge impact on whether I return or not.

Roast lamb at a Greek restaurant is not easy to screw up, which is why I always order it. BUT, the roast lamb here is stellar. In fact, it’s the best I’ve had… and I’ve had some wicked roast lamb before. I found this lamb was perfectly seasoned, inside and out.
I didn’t give five stars because they did a vodka flambé with the saganaki and it overpowered the cheese with an alcohol taste. Other than that, this out-of-Towner place gives it two thumbs up!
P. S. Complimentary ouzo shot at the end of the meal is a nice touch!

Hidden Gem in Nanaimo! I spent a month traveling all over Greece having great meals. So I mean it when I say I love greek food. I first discovered this place (as its a little hidden) when I was searching for a new place to order pizza for a work meeting. I’ll post a pic. I returned a few weeks later for dinner as the pizza was very good (unfortunately not a lot of pizza options, but hey it’s a Greek restaurant). My date and I ordered the platter that has the roast lamb. Absolutely magical! One of the best roasted lambs I have had (including in Greece) and it came on a sample platter! Everything else was very good too. Our server was one of the owners (a middle aged couple in business together). It was a Friday night and the place was packed! We were lucky to get a table without a reservation, so I would suggest calling ahead on a Friday/Saturday. Sorry I was too busy diving into the lamb it get any pictures of that night, you’ll just have to take my word on it ;)

Wonderful dinner with friends. Great food with lots left over for lunch. The cheese appetizer was out of this world. The Greek platter for two is the way to go. Would highly recommend.
