Comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful host. Wonderful, hearty breakfast. Good location. Excellent price. Give this place a try – you will not be disappointed. Some rooms have a shared bathroom, but it was not too much of an issue for us.

I am so glad to have found Le Lit au Carre!!! This is the first time staying in Montréal in a bed and breakfast as I normally stay in boutique hotels. I’ve stayed in several b&b’s in my lifetime and the owner Carine is the most hospitable and friendly out of all the b&b’s I’ve stayed in. She also cooks up a mean breakfast. Her house is located on a beautiful tree lined street close to a park and very close to St Dennis(which has lots of restaurants) and other main attractions. Few details about the house: — house is extremely clean and well kept — main breakfast dining area — living room with a tv — 3 guest rooms(one with a private bathroom and the other 2 share bathrooms) We stayed in the Anis room which has a queen bed, separate room with a day bed, private balcony and tv — I like the fact each room has their own individual heat and AC control — shared bathroom is very quaint and well kept — community fridge to store your goods — primary entrance is in the front where all of the guest get a key and can enter and exit the house at ant time… no curfew like some other places I’ve stayed in — very comfortable bed, pillow and sheets — water(hot) dispenser Breakfast everyday was delicious and always came with fresh baked goods from a wonderful local bakery around the corner, yogurt or fruit then the main bfast dish. She also had a big tea menu for all you tea drinkers. Overall I had a great stay. I felt like I was a resident of Montréal, living in a brownstone on a nice tree lined street. The owner made us feel like home which is a plus. Were already planning our next stay here for Montréal’s Jazz fest.
