The place is really cute, small and clean. I took their bacon shallot bun and almond choco cookie. For the bun, I thought some of the bacon would be inside the bun but nope, it was 95% plain bun and 5% small specks of bacon. The bread though was okay and it was pretty cheap too. The almond cookie was super dry, and you couldn’t really taste the chocolate but, it was a lot considering the price so the portion was good. Overall, the place is ok, but chinatown bakeries are x10 better.

I love Hong Kong style buns. They’re not just one of my favourite baked goods, but actually one of my favourite foods generally. Sometimes I’ll get a craving and think quickly going to the Cocobun near Peel/Guy/Atwater stations is a good idea but … it’s not and it makes me sad that many Montrealers probably only ever experience Cocobun pineapple buns. The coconut filling bun I had was dry, bland and unevenly filled. The chicken teriyaki bun(I was intrigued) tasted weirdly artificial and way too sweet. Sure, they’re cheap. But you can do SO much better. Go to Chinatown for your fix. Literally any place in Chinatown. Harmonie, Callia, Legende(they’re all next to each other anyway). They also have more options and are generally cheaper.

Should have tried their baked goods. They are a bakery, but I do not believe they make the items at this location. By the way, you will find them underground close to the Eaton Centre in Montréal. Shame on me for buying their Mango smoothie with Boba. It was expensive, and it tasted below average. Way to powdery and artificial. My bad for ordering this. On the plus side, their place was clean. Stick to trying their bakery items. Some did appear tasty. Just do not order the Mango smoothie with Boba!!!

Small but convenient bakery located in Carrefour Industrielle Alliance, directly under Simon. The place is so small that they don’t have a kitchen, therefore they get their baked goods from other Cocobuns located in Concordia and Chinatown. The good part is that their buns come prepackaged, so you can save the hassle of picking them up with tongs and then put in a plastic bags. The bubble tea tastes just like any other Cocobuns, but it is slightly more expensive than the one located in Chinatown(Pâtisserie Harmonie). Overall, a great place to grab some snacks. They only accept cash and debit card if purchase is above 5 $.
