This is as the sign says, a leather and repair workshop. They are only open from Thursday to Saturday, as the rest of the week they are either creating or repairing. Their specialties are custom shoes, you’ll see lots of wooden shoe forms in the display cases, leather goods, small and not so, tanned hides hanging, in all colours, all ready to be shaped and sewn to your preferences. They also specialise in all kinds of leather and outdoor goods repairs; including tents, sleeping bags, etc., as the sign states. This is THE place for your Birkenstock repairs and resoles. I have had both of my Birks resoled here, even had the soles changed to the anti-​slip, each time the work was well-​done and ready in a timely fashion. In fact, this is THE workshop that the Birkenstock store on Duluth ALWAYS recommends and to which it refers its customers.
