This is our favourite Starbucks location. The baristas are all so friendly and the service is great. They’re always more than happy to fill requests for specialty drinks. Five stars!

Starbucks head office connected with me after the incident and used the experience as a «teachable moment» with the store manager and staff. They sent us free drink cards and a letter to apologize. It was so nice of them to work through this so professionally. It’s exactly what I would expect from a company like Starbucks. Well done. I appreciate it and will try the location again in the future, hoping for a better experience.

I arrived to this area a little too early for my taste and I was desperate for a jolt of coffee. I saw the Starbucks sign and like a siren’s song, it called to me. Imagine my surprise to see this attached to a big box store(Chapters/Indigo). Ugh… oh well, coffee is coffee right? With it’s store having it’s own door, I walked in and saw that no one was there except the single barista. With a sincere smile and question, she had my grande Christmas Blend coffee within my hands in a few seconds. Considering I arrived pretty much after it opened, the coffee was fresh and hot. It’s not the best environment and it’s smaller than some stand alone Starbucks but this one does the trick. It’s not horribly hard to get in and out of the parking lot either so that’s a bonus.

So the other day I was passing this Starbucks which is connected to Chapters and me and my Toddler still haven’t eaten anything since breakfast. Both of us have the empty stomach grump syndrome so we needed some food and that fast. So we walked in here and both glued our faces to their little display window and I liked immediately the looked of the Lemon Poppy Seed Loaf and ordered it then I ordered some sort of pecan bar which I didn’t really want because I was looking for a Chocolate Chip Cookie. But then when I was paying and asked them why they didn’t have any chocolate chip cookie, they said it was just not put out on display yet and they got me one. So after we payed we ran over to the train table station in Chapters and ripped open the paper bags like two hyenas. We first tried the Lemon Poppy Seed Loaf and it was just out of this world! I thought it looked good in the display window but would have never expected it to taste this good. My memory still can recall the exact taste sensation I felt that moment and it’s been over a week ago! The Chocolate Chip Cookie was average and stayed pretty much over… we both were fighting for the last crumb of the Lemon Poppy Seed Loaf! Definitely a must from now on whenever I will stop at Starbucks!
