Computer problems can happen anywhere, anytime. And usually at the worst of times, which is what happened to me the other day. In the middle of preparing a critical proposal for a new client, I got the blue screen of death. In other words, my computer completely froze. To make matters worse, there was no backup of the proposal that I had spent the last 3 hours preparing.
In a panic, I called a colleague, asking if he knew of any reputable on-​site computer repair companies. He gave me the name of Micro Computer Consulting Inc, letting me know that his company uses them for Computer repair services and IT emergencies. As my presentation was the next morning, this definitely qualified as an emergency.
So I called and within the hour, one of their computer technicians was at my office. He ran some diagnostics on it, identified the problem and 20 minutes after arriving, had repaired my computer. Friendly and courteous, Joseph — my technician — took the time to explain what had happened and how to prevent it from happening again.
