Interstate All Battery Center

Had it not been for their «free watch battery» promo, I would’ve just driven right by this place without a second glance.
This store has an interesting concept. All they sell is batteries, batteries, MORE BATTERIES, some chargers, jumper cables, adapters, some flashlights, etc. Their primary business is in batteries for all sorts of things, you name it, they will either have it OR they’ll order it in for you.
They have batteries for cars, boats, cordless/​cell phones, laptops, key fobs, watches (of course!), hearing aids, and the list goes on. For the most part, they sell their own Interstate-​branded batteries that perform as well as Duracell/​Energizer, but they’ll be cheaper. Watch batteries are ~$ 4.99, but usually price to change it will be $ 8.99 (with battery installed).
I asked Steve, the friendly manager, what people come in most for and he said that it’s for car/​boat batteries. He said that price-​wise, Canadian Tire is probably 5−10% cheaper, but batteries from Interstate will last 30% longer. So you do the math!
Since the CT is on my blacklist, it’s great to know that these friendly folks are just across the street!!! :)
