***NOTE: This review is based on customer service, not purchase/quality of product.*** Since I am on a mad hunt for the right mattress, I decided to cover the gamut that includes organic beds. And boy, Dormio is no joke when it comes to their mattresses/bedding! Steve, the salesman, and I came to a pretty quick conclusion that Dormio was not for me as I’m looking for a mattress that I will be using for a coupla years. The mattresses at Dormio apparently last longer than regular mattresses — ~30yrs. However, the prices match as well, i.e. the same price as a piece of furniture. Mattresses are made out of various natural materials including latex made from organically grown trees, organic wool/cotton. Aside from mattresses, they also sell pillows and bedding. Very nice, relaxing showroom. Absolutely no sales pressure with laid-back attitude. No pretension whatsoever!

It’s been over a year now. I ended up gaining a LOT of weight(25kg) and it turns out that this is the ONLY bed that supports my weight… it’s awesome on my back and now I don’t sleep on anything else… I am glad they didn’t take it back!!! It’s comfy but I did work it in. as of now, I love this bed…

This place is FULL of organic bedding. I just wish they kept more stock, they seem more like a mom and pop shop, which is great, but perhaps not so hot for inventory. They sell these great organic quilts, and buckwheat pillows(love). So even though I sleep on the floor, I can appreciate a good business when I see one. I appreciate that they are passionate and they seem to really understand their business. I just wish it wasn’t quite so far from Toronto. but then again, it is in Mississauga.
