Had initially purchased a Groupon for an order of cupcakes — but came out with so much more! The cupcakes are beautiful and they have a very extensive list of flavours to choose from. Previous reviews had mentioned the shelves empty of cupcakes, but when I went there were quite a large number of cupcakes on display. Staff are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Other than cupcakes, this little bakery has fresh bread/buns, cakes, cookies, fudge, jams and all kinds of meat pastries! In addition to my cupcake, I ended up walking out with a few spicy beef rolls(yummy!) and spicy beef patty(decent). They even offered to heat up my meat pastries in case I wanted to eat them on the go. The pricing is affordable and fair. If I am in the area, I will definitely be stopping in again! Great experience, thank you Bubbles n’ Bakery!

I purchased cupcakes here for my son’s birthday dinner as a treat since I bought a groupon package online. I emailed ahead of time requesting certain flavours. When I went to pick them up they were ready as promised. The packaging lacked design — just a simple clear muffin case. There was no one else in the bakery at the time. There were a lot of other items for sale but I didn’t buy any as I was not interested. The cupcakes themselves were pretty good and very well decorated. I didn’t notice any baking going on while I was there and there didn’t seem to be any fresh bread or many other fresh items in the display case.

I came upon Bubbles’n Bakery while browsing Wagjag for deals. I had a $ 5 promo code to use and was looking for something sweet for my husband. I came across a wagjag for Bubbles n Bakery $ 5 for $ 10 worth of sweets. Bought my wagjag with my free code and off I went. I drove past this place to be honest the first time and had to do a U turn, due to the fact that it’s tucked away in a small plaza. The inside of this shop is tiny, but with lot’s of room to walk around. I went at about 3pm and was surprised on how empty the shelves of baked goods were. The cupcake case was all but empty except for a few different kinds of cupcakes. There wasn’t a large variety of of sweets available, but I was still able to get some yummy treats. There is also spreads and breads available and you can also put in custom cake orders. I ended up with 2 cupcakes($ 2.50 each), 5 cookies($ 0.59 each) 4 brownies($ 0.69) and 1 shortbread cookie. My total came to $ 11.70 minus the $ 10 voucher, all this for only $ 1.70!!! The woman working at the shop was very pleasant and was very helpful explaining what my voucher covered. The sweets were very… well SWEET… a bit overly sweet! the cupcakes were delicious and the cookies were tasty but very very sweet. If I could change one thing it would be to cut back on the sugar a bit. 3⁄5

I walked into the newly opened bakery one weekday afternoon after having read about it in our local Streetsville Village times newspaper. Although it looks lovely, tis a cute little shop, the display cases for cupcakes was almost empty. In comparison the cupcakes were very small in size for the price being asked, Swirls down the street offers larger equally tasty cupcakes for less money. The cookies some of which looked unappealing seemed to me to be slightly overpriced, although i did not try any simply based on the fact that none of them were all that visually appealing. There was no smell of freshly baked bread, or any scent of oven baked goods which i found odd. The woman behind the counter in the shop did not speak to me and had her back to me as i scanned the shop, she was more interested in her PC then welcoming a potential new customer to the newly opened bake shop in town. My thoughts — Kates and Swirls offer more tasty treats for less money, and both are much more customer focused when you enter their premises. I was disappointed but will give it one more try in a month or two and see if I have a better experience and see if the quality of the cupcake has improved, and see if I am enticed to purchase other goodies which is usually the case when I visit a bakery.
