Ordered a bhel puri to go. Watched the lady preparing it, in disbelief. She had no idea what she was doing. Later, got the recipe from me. Confessed that the owner asked her to put yogurt in it and she had never eaten a real bhel! The customer behind me in the queue laughed her head off and said, «at least you know what the real thing should taste like/look like. I would never know.» And that’s it. The restaurant serves up the usual bulk-made, pre-frozen, heated-on-the-spot«Indian» food for those who don’t quite know Indian food. Fyi, a bhel had more puffed rice than cilantro.

This is our go to food court food. It’s food court food that doesn’t taste like you’re eating in a food court. Chicken Bhuna. Please please please try the chicken bhuna. We have had other dishes as well. The Chicken Masala is good but the Bhuna is the best. With some fresh made to order naan. Yummy! We go again and again and it’s never disappointing. Is it expensive for food court food? Maybe slightly but it’s restaurant quality food and worth every penny. I would rather pay an extra $ 2 for an amazing meal than save the cash and go with one of the cheaper blander and less healthy food court options.

It’s a very nice Indian restaurant for continental lovers. You must try their butter chicken. Prices are okay as well. A must try :)

Loved the food! Food was fresh and servings are large. We had the chicken tikka rolls and the chicken biryani. Spice level was good and the taste was pretty authentic. If you’re comparing Amaya to an Indian restaurant then yes its expensive but it’s in a mall, and they compete with Chipotle and BigSmokeBurger so I think they’re pretty affordable in comparison.

Was excited to finally try out Amaya since it always smells amazing when I pass by it in Yorkdale and Square one. Was very disappointed with the beef kofta wrap that I had, I’ve had much much better naan kebabs at other indian/pakistani restaurants in Mississauga. There was virtually no taste, not to mention way overpriced.

The worst Indian food available in GTA. Taste is bad. Not many choices and expensive.

The butter chicken and garlic naan is decent but the coleslaw it’s served with is gross. It’s pricey for a quick bite at the mall so you’re better off going to a restaurant and getting a bigger portion for the same price.
