I’m just happy we have some type of Asian option in Milton. Wish it was bigger. The staff is friendly and helpful.

If you walked in, you might think I’m crazy for giving this place 3 stars… but as the only Filipino market I’ve found in Milton, I’m going to follow Unilocal description & give this place an «A-​OK».
When I saw «Oriental & Filipino» on a sign in Milton, I turned into the parking lot without a second thought.
There it was… a beacon of hope… surrounded by a bike shop, an adult store, and a tattoo parlor. Now I’m not gonna judge the quality of the surrounding businesses, but REALLY?! why is there a Filipino store here? I’m gonna guess and say it has something to do with the rent, but I can’t be sure.
Either way, a familiar smell wafted through my nostrils as I stepped into the store. I picked up some dried mango, asian snacks, and filipino «cup-​o-​noodles» soup. The freezer was full of pork buns, tropical ice cream, and lumpia wrapper!
Milton’s starting to feel more and more like home. I just wish I had a kitchen…
