After reading several good reviews and seeing their photos on Facebook, I decided to give this nail salon a try. I called and booked an appointment and when I got there, I was left with nothing but disappointment. If you are looking for a manicure, this place will do your nails amazing! However, if you are looking to get a pedicure look the other way! The assortment of colours for a regular pedicure is lacking… and the nail polishes from O.P.I. And Essie need to be replaced, they were all old and lumpy. Also, after my pedicure, I felt the staff were trying to rush me out when the polish wasn’t dry… and they assured me that the polish will dry completely. I waited over 5 hours and the polish was STILL not dry! The lady who painted them did a terrible job… I regret giving her a $ 5 tip –_– I ended up going home, removing it and then repainting them myself. Very disappointed…

I usually get my nails done at a different place in Pacific Mall, but saw reviews for this place and decided to come in. I went in last Thursday evening, no appointment, but they took me in with no problems. I had Veronica, and she was pleasant. She was very good, great customer service skills. All in all, a good experience. Fast forward to Saturday, 2 days later. My nail chipped and a couple of the other nails were close to coming off as well. I called and spoke to Tom, and described the situation. I told him I couldn’t come in til Monday. He said that was fine. I walked in at 12pm today, and was met with QiQi(I think that’s her name), who spoke no English, which was ok as long as she understood what I needed. And she said«do again?» I said yes! So she fixed the three nails I needed done with perfection. Shortly before leaving, Veronica and another lady walked in and I was glad, so they knew the situation. Again, the customer service was great with Veronica and even the other girl. Very pleasant. All in all, a good experience with this place. I think this will be my new nail place. As much as I was annoyed by the chipped nail, the great work with the fix made up for it. Thanks guys!

Based on the reviews, I decided to pay this place a visit. Unfortunately, it was a horrible experience. While the price was cheap for shellac, I walked away with horribly shaped nails(I wanted round tip), lumpy and bumpy polish and they actually took a chunk of my nail off when they were removing the soft gel. It took well over two hours to just remove and paint my nails — so if you do decide to go, I hope you have a better experience than me.

I had a hope for the best but expect the worst attitude going here only because I’ve had too many bad nail experiences before and a couple were at Pmall which is why I stopped getting my nails done for years. I was tired of being disappointed. I feel like most of the shops here false advertise. They tell you they can do what you want for you only to gain your business but if it turns out to not meet your expectations, they could care less. However, I chose this shop because my nails were getting monstrously long and the girl I usually go to is fully booked until two weeks later so I desperately needed an alternative! I saw their Instagram and liked their work. Found their reviews on Unilocal and they didn’t seem too bad(although not that promising either lol) Most importantly though, whoevers number is on their Instagram, I contacted through text and was ACTUALLYABLETOCOMMUNICATEWIT! A lot of the nail shops at Pmall employ Chinese people who only speak mandarin and little to no English making it very difficult for me. Especially when it comes to nails and I’m trying to explain or describe something to someone and they don’t understand… Uhhhh that’s a problem! Anyway, I was set up with Lulu who apparently is the manager of the shop and is the best nail artist they employ. I can now testify that she is! She did the shattered glass nail design for me and she was able to replicate the picture of the design I showed her exactly. She just glanced at it and assured me she can deliver. She meticulously worked on my nails and by the way she did I can tell she pays a lot of attention to detail and is very experienced. She even mixed gels to achieve the colour and effect I wanted. I’m so happy with the way my nails turned out and will definitely not hesitate to return!!!

Stumbled across their flawless Instagram account earlier in the day, and I just had to drag my friend with me to get our nails done! They met all of my expectations on all fronts; we were even offered a $ 5 coupon as one of us had to wait either 5 and 20 minutes, which sweetened the experience. We both opted for a shellac manicure, the $ 20 price also covers a removal of a previous shellac. The service went off without a hitch for both of us. My nail technician, didn’t catch her name, was very meticulous throughout. She made sure to examine my nails from different angle after coating each one coat, and again before and after I let my nails cure. In the end, the total came to $ 15 — thanks to that coupon. Overall, both my friend and I, had a great time. I was also very impressed by their nail design examples as they seem very on trend with current Japanese, Korean, and Western styles.(Glass, marbleized, and negative space, to name a few.) They also provide an eyelash extension service that I’m very eager to try eventually. Thank you for the amazing service WonderNails! Can’t wait to come back to get my nails done again! :)

A few hits and misses, but overall– I think I would return for a fill soon :) I came to this salon after two of my gel nails broke off from visiting another salon(which I don’t think i’ll return to). I needed a fill as well. I texted their number and made an appointment for 3PM Friday, and was promptly booked in without a problem. Upon arriving, they were actually busy and seemed super apolegetic when asking if I could come back in a few minutes. I didn’t mind so I took a walk around and tried to pick a design I liked. Coming back a while later, I was sat down with Sherry to start my fill and such. She inspected my nails and gave me suggestions on what to do, and the price of everything. Overall, it cost me $ 30 for the refill, $ 5 to repair two broken nails, an $ 5 for two accent nails. For me, this wasn’t expensive as I’ve been to places where they charged way more. She took extreme care in filing, drilling, and buffing and did not touch or break skin the entire time. When I felt a bit of heat and pain, she was happy to lower the power and slow down so I could get a quick break. We ended up going with a jewel-tone grey color(#55 for anyone wonder) with two back accent nails that had a gold heartbeat sticker. Her application was excellent. She went the extra step to take a small detail brush to paint in the areas around my cuticle, rather than leave a small gap like other places might. Their instagram account was amazing, and from what I saw, Sherry is the queen of detailed nail art. I assume that would come with a price, but her work is just THAT detailed and amazing! They also offer a card where if your nails break, fall, etc in three weeks time, you can come back to get it fixed for free– as opposed to the two week guarantee that other places offer. All in all, I’m quite in love with their services and will be going in for a fill in a couple of weeks! :)

This place is not worth going to! I usually do my nails at provenance nails but there was a wait and I thought I’ll give this place a try. I knew something was wrong when she didn’t ask me how I want my nails filed or tell me when things cost extra, or check if I was okay with the work periodically. She didn’t file my nails evenly because they’re slanted and she didn’t coat the gel to the tip properly and the gel layer is really really thin. It’s only been two days and one of them is cracking from the bottom of my cuticle. The sparkly gel nails cost $ 40 and I’ve been doing my nails for years, and I know it is standard $ 30 or $ 35 max! First time, shame on me. so never again! If you want to know. the girl spoke mandarin and had short hair below her ears. Only positive is it took her 40 mins to do.

I’m not one to to complain too much but my experience was so bad I had to share. I went to this place with my friend after being referred by one of our friends. The price was decent for a gel nail fill with shellac but on 4 of my nails the shellac cracked within 12 hours! I went back and had them fixed but two other nails cracked in less then a week! I was so disappointed as I had loved the colors! My friend got a shellac pedicure and I almost died when 1) they used a kettle to pour hot water in her foot tub and 2) I spotted a bug on the ground(not an ant either…). I use Unilocal for a lot of services so I wanted to be sure to share my disappointment with Wonder Nails.
