We were in the area and decided to drop by Sunrise Grill for lunch. The restaurant is attached to a gas station and located in the north end of Markham. We were there on a Saturday around 2 pm and there were only 2 other couples in the restaurant. I decided to have the Sunrise burger and my wife had a club sandwich. Funny thing is that they did not come with fries, you had to order fries as a side. The food came quick enough (but remember restaurant was quiet). The burger has a thick patty with peameal bacon and Swiss cheese. It was quite delicious. The price was reasonable too. The waitress was friendly, but sometimes had to ask something twice since she did not hear first time. You can get a free coffee if you check in here (although the waitress was unaware of this, she still gave the free coffee). Would like to go back to try their breakfast one day, even of it is a bit further away.
