Where else can you find a Steinway piano gallery around here? You can’t! With lots of different pianos at a variety of prices, from a few hundred to a few hundred thousand(yep, that’s one’s a Steinway!), this store is the ideal place to go if you’re not sure what you’re looking for yet. The staff was very helpful. He knew that I was NOT looking to buy a piano(we were there for books) but noticed my curiosity and took his time to explain in full detail the different brands of pianos, the materials, the manufacturing process, etc and the pros and cons of each model– without sounding like he was trying to sell something. I wish I had known this information when I had gotten my first piano, and I will keep what I learned in mind when I save up enough for a new piano. As the other reviewer mentioned, the store is far from extravagant. It is actually really run down looking and cramped. Even worse are the classrooms, if you have ever taken lessons at Euromusic. The classrooms do not even use real desks, and the pianos are terrible. But that’s ok. Because the piano store part of this building contains some of the most gorgeous pianos there are… and I was given the pleasure to test them out. Overall, I’m sure you won’t regret it if you take a look here, even if you are not looking to buy. If you are looking to buy, you will get the chance to compare a wide range of pianos and get very thorough advice on your purchase. Either way, it is a good experience. Buying a piano is an investment… but playing the piano… is life. :) Or at least a very big part of it.
