This was the worst place! Ive never met such cheap and rude people, the owner/​workers dont go out of their way. Each service is bland and if you tell them anything they get snippy! I asked the woman to shape my fingernail a little bit rounder and she rudely grabbed my finger to redo it while uttering something in a different language to her co worker! I felt so uncomfortable :(

I’ve had back problems all my life (probably due to my almost-​20 years of piano playing and being hunched over the keys all the time). I used to get my massages from Oshun Spa on Broadview, but after they shut down I needed somewhere else to go. My boyfriend’s mother got me a gift certificate for a paraffin manicure, spa pedicure, and 30-​minute relaxation massage. I was so excited, I booked my services almost immediately.
The massage was first, since I hadn’t had one in over a year. Bharti was amazing, and didn’t chat too much (since massages usually put me to sleep, I don’t like feeling obligated to have a conversation), except for occasionally asking if I was alright. I booked another massage with her right after.
Bharti also did my pedicure (I’m assuming they don’t have many members of their staff, and most of them perform multiple services), which looked amazing.
My paraffin manicure was great as well… Carling (I think that was her name) warned me about the wax being a bit hot at first, which I thought was considerate… especially because if I hadn’t been warned I might have jumped at the heat (it did cool down quickly, though).
I’ve been a total of 3 times, and as soon as my schedule frees up a bit more, I’ll be back. With Mother’s Day around the corner, I’ll be getting my mother a gift certificate for sure!

A great spa in the suburbs!
Sometimes those deal sites connect you with little gem’s you would have otherwise never found. For me, this is one of those gem’s. I found this place through some groupon (etc.) site over a year ago. Their staff is great and I never felt out of place using the online deal. They use a fantastic natural line called Eminence Organics, their facilities are always nice and clean, their prices are standard (but they usually have some good promos going on) but what I go back for is the people. Friendly, honest, skilled aestheticians — the true soul to any spa — keep me coming back for more!
