Great products, but customer service is lacking. Very snobby, no smiles or acknowledgement from the 2 stuffy wenches at the cash. My partner and I were the only ones in there with the intention to purchase, but left with nothing. They didn’t even say hi when we walked in, they just glanced at us. Big turn off!

Again, still a sucker for hand made products. Lots of beautiful ornaments, and souvenirs to take home from your trip to Halifax. Have to say, I’m taking stuff back with me.

This is our go-to place for wedding/graduation/christening gifts. All the pewter is made right in the building, the designs are extremely beautiful(and there’s a range of designs, from the expected maritimey themes to more abstract or classic designs) and it’s very good quality. They have an expanding range of gift items from jewellery to vases, mugs and goblets and just about everything imaginable in between. Need a classy cheese board with pewter knife? They’ve got it! it’s not cheap but it’s first rate and worth the price. One of the things we like the best about Amos Pewter is that we can visit the store or phone them up, purchase a gift and get them to wrap it and mail it to he recipient. That kind of service makes them a great source for gifts for special occasions.

This pewter palace is an eclectic collection of pewter-made wares ranging from small trinkets like keychains and letter openers all the way up to larger, signature pieces for the home. If pewter is your passion, this is the place to get your fix. The heavy maritime theme is really aimed at tourists who may want to walk away with a seagull, whale, lighthouse, or pewter/tartan collabo, but I’ll give it to them for making a nice, upscale product that offers a classier option that your average lobster t-shirt.

Amos Pewter is located along the waterfront, there is a nice selection of jewelry and gift-ware made right here in Nova Scotia. The store offers nice pieces to choose from and staff is very friendly. This is really a show room for this Pewter, a nice place.

Nice selection of unqiue, affordable, handmade pewter jewelery and art presented more like an art gallery than a store, which was refreshing.

Amos is a delicate interior of hand made pewter crafts. Jewelry and trinkets are strategically scattered throughout, and maintain an earthy, uniquely Maritime feel for the most part. The space is large and open, with glass displays much like a gallery. Towards the back there is a work station in sight, as to reassure all that pass through the fact that these delights are made close to home. Teeny figurines of animals and shapes appeared elegant, while jewelry teetered between funky and refined. There is a certain play with texture with designs; some smooth, some purposely tarnished to give an older feel. All items under my own eye looked to be of fantastic craftsmanship. This place provides a softer, more tasteful look on the tourist scene with an eclectic gathering of pewter based designs.

Walking the water front on Wednesday night I came across this pewter location that I did not know even existed and how many times have I been down here. All hand crafted right in Nova Scotia which is always a good thing. Inside it reminds me of a beach theme with aqua walls and the floor reminds me of sand with a beautiful in print of what looks like a sand dollar. Most of the jewelry took after things that you found on the beach such as shells and starfish. Things like earrings and, bracelet’s, sun catchers, necklaces would be great for gifts. Now if you are looking for something more then yes they have just that with picture frames and candle sticks as well as other trinkets. Take a pop by and see what you think.
