Dollarama

Nice, big and spacious dollar store right at the heart of Sackville Drive (near where the old Walmart used to be). Clean and spacious, with a good layout, this store has tons of inventory, ranging from grerting cards, to art supplies, to hardware and dinnerware– literally everything!
Now, when it comes to dollar stores, I admit I’m kind of a cautious buyer: in spite of the store’s plentiful offerings, I steer clear of dinnerware, electrical items, pet supplies (and by extension, children’s toys); I’m always concerned with the safety of these products in case of fire hazards, choking hazards and the potential of cheap materials like lead paints. That said, I do like to take a peek at their office supplies– ideal for stuff like cheap pens or paperclips. Also, this is a great spot for gift bags and little decorative trinkets.
The real selling point here is the service; the staff are great, very efficient. And even when things get crazy busy, they’re never short on friendliness, which goes a long way in my books. Great!

This Dollarama is amazing! It is huge and beautifully laid out. I’ve never gone into a Dollarama that was so neat and tidy.
The staff was friendly and the best part of this experience is that the isles were not filled with boxes that they stock the shelves with. Every other Dollarama’s isles are overstocked and it’s hard to get through the isles with a cart.
This store even was equipped with a POS system. They scanned the merchandise rather than key it in. I was totally impressed!

I was in this Dollarama today to pick up a few things.
To my surprise this is a great Dollarama. It was larger than I expected, clean and well stocked. It is always nice to be welcome with a smile as well. This store seemed to have items that other Dollarama’s did not.
Another key point was, plenty of friendly staff on. I would definitely go back.
