We were looking specifically for a Porchetta sandwich similar to Meat & Bread in BC… then we found this! I ordered the Filipino sandwich and enjoyed it except the crunchy part of the pork was too hard… Almost stale. It didn’t taste as fresh as I expected… But perhaps my expectations were too high since I compared it to Meat & Bread and they have the best Porchetta sandwich ever! So for my first experience there the sandwich was fair… Wished it was a little more fresh but overall price was ok for the portion you get. I would come back just to see if maybe I had an off day and try something else.

Decided on this place for a Sunday lunch, since it was right by Covent market. We arrived by 1pm and surprisingly only one table was occupied. What I liked was that their menu had unique sandwich options that ranged from Vietnamese to Moroccan. They also offered a to make your sandwich into a salad. However, they really lacked much vegetarian options, as they only had one veg sandwich. The soup of the day was either a chicken one or a vegetarian tomato soup. My brother is a vegetarian, so he asked for the veg sandwich and the soup, but surprisingly, despite it being only 1pm and not very crowded, they had run out of the tomato soup. So he had to settle for the sandwich on its own, which according to him was good, but not that filling on its own. I got the bahn mi inspired sandwich made into a salad, which was nothing special, however the chicken in it was pretty tasty as they used the dark meat of the chicken rather than the typical healthy choice of using the white meat. Overall, the service was good, since we were greeted with smiles and friendly service, but the food was nothing special.

Chicken wahn mi can definitely be improved. The slaw was too saucy to be at the bottom of the bun. soaked through and destroyed the bottom which made it very hard to eat. Either put it in the middle or use less sauce in your slaw for a much better sandwich experience. :) everything else was great. Marrakech chicken was amazing. The prices are worth it for this top quality, quick-service, great location, exemplary sandwich shop. Great staff and décor as well. May be a personal preference but maybe have the meat be warmer on the sandwich. I would have enjoyed it most if it was hot with the contrast of the fresh toppings. Bun was delicious but it’s a lot of bread. Grill-pressed sliced bread like sky blue sky in Toronto might be a great option to have. Thanks for being so awesome I can only hope you continue to offer new creations!

By far the most solid sandwich shop in London. Please do not go anywhere else. The environment is beyond«upscale» by London’s standards. It is a new, classy, cool and collected look. Your water will come to the table in unique pouring bottles, your service will be attentive and quick. What else do you want? Oh. A good sandwich. Good thing they have that too. — Sandwich — My suggestion is pick the first thing that pops out to you. Look at the menu, do not deliberate, just pick. All of the sandwiches are well prepared, taste amazing and should not disappoint. Trust your gut and pick. — Salad — Why on earth are you coming to a sandwich shop for a salad. Please stop wasting this restaurants time. Order a sandwich. — Overall — Arguably the best sandwich shop in London. It rivals Toronto sandwich shops. Don’t complain about pricing if you want good food. Want cheaper? Make your own sandwich.

My better half loved this place. I thought it was really good too. They have an interesting way of making sandwiches here which they do with care. Depending on which meal you choose you might think the chef is a witch because of the speed and precision they make it with. It is bursting with flavour and I am a bit surprised it does not need a wich around it to contain it. Short and long, a great sandwich shop which I recommend, even if you are a witch or warlock.

So glad to have stumbled across this place! The tuna melt(only $ 9.50) was delicious, albeit a bit oily. Food was served quickly and staff was very friendly. Will be back to try the halal chicken thigh sandwich!

My all of one time attending this fine establishment was far from a letdown. Amazing service and the owner is down to earth. The sandwich was absolutely fantastic and sitting barside staring at the market was a worthwhile view to kill a lunch break. RECOMMENDED

I love Wich is Wich sandwich shop! The service is always great, and we go there for lunch all of the time! All three servers we have had are friendly, helpful and attentive! I am a vegetarian, so when they have there veggie soups it is my favourite! I always get the oven baked sandwich, and my boyfriend gets the tuna melt, every time they are made to perfection! Always quick too! Even during the busy lunch rush! We often try to go around 2 pm because it’s a little more calm. Thank guys for running such an awesome sandwich shop!

Ten out of ten ! An absolute must in the city. Clean bright ambience, friendly and knowledgeable service, hands down the best porchetta south of Sudbury.

I’ve heard many wonderful things and had the opportunity to taste taste a few menu choices last night at our LOPN Networking event. The Tuna melt was amazing and the Steak Club left me dying to try more! I felt like I was eating at my Mom’s, very clean and staff treated you like family! I will definitely be back with friends! Great place for 1 on 1 networking meetings in future!

I had only heard great things about this place so I finally made it. The place was packed and everything looked so tasty. Since I almost always gravitate towards Asian good, I got the chicken w’anh mi. It was a bit on the pricey side at around $ 9, especially since the best banh mi over ever had in my life was $ 3.50. But this is London and because of the lack of competition, things just cost more here. I can accept that. My first bite was delicious, the powerful flavored of the soy sauce marinaded chicken with the crunch of the pickled vegetables felt right. Unfortunately, by the third bite you realize they overmarinaded the chicken, leading me to finish off two bottles of water and wanting to taste anything else besides soy sauce after completing my meal. I was super sad because I really wanted to like it, but it’s just mediocre. I wish I had just gone to benh thanh instead of having a sodium overload

Was in London for the first time and was getting lunch for the band and crew from a venue down the street. I walked by and peaked in this shop the night prior and was excited to try it out. When I walked in I was greeted by lovely owner who helped me choose sandwiches for everyone. The kitchen is on display and everything looked so clean, fresh and amazing. I ended up going for the veggie sandwich which was zucchini, kale, roasted tomato with a white bean hummus on homemade bread. Usually the veggie option at a sandwich place can lack flavor but this was insane! So much different spaces and the bread was not too crunchy or stale. You can tell their menu is well fully thought out and unique. I wish I was in town longer to try another sandwich. Highly recommended !

Not only were they out of ingredients for what I ordered, it took 15 minutes for the staff to tell me! I was here for a lunch and 15 minutes is too long to wait to hear your order can’t be processed. The service is terrible. The atmosphere will leave you wondering if you have stepped into a «proper sandwich shop» or someones dreadful kitchen. A combination of tacky tiles, poor seating and lack of anything that boasts the claim of a proper sandwich shop is what you will find. The food, combined with the service and atmosphere, is not worth the price you pay for a sandwich and etcetera — might as well hit one of the local restaurants for a ‘proper’ lunch

Sandwiches are my guilty pleasure. Few places do them well, and for most it is an after thought and not a specialty. Having seen the coming soon sign for what seems like an eternity, my daughter noticed that there were people inside eating when we were leaving the Covent Garden Market. The décor makes you feel like you are in a friend’s oversized kitchen, the menu just the right size(although a few more choices would be nice) and the staff were very welcoming. I had what is called the Oven Baked Cheese, «wich» is a take on one of my all time favourite sandwiches, the grilled cheese. This little bit of gooey heaven found its way to me between two slices of sour dough bread. Finding out that there will be «grilled cheese» nights from the executive chef has sealed the deal for me to become a regular here!
