I would not return. I gave it one star because it was clean. Sausage taste like hot dogs. Benni sauce was tasteless… potatoes boiled with peperkia.

I dropped in with a generally large group of about 10 on a busy Sunday morning and they managed to get us a table almost immediately! I was very pleased.
The menus were nice and easy to read with a simple selection of breakfast and brunch meals. I ordered the student special, an order of eggs, pancakes, and some bacon. Though I did not enjoy the pancakes one bit the rest of my meal was good.
I asked my easier if mashed potatoes was possible as I prefer mashed potatoes over homefries even though it wasn’t on the menu, she told me she would see what she could do. When my meal came I was ecstatic to see that they had served me mashed potatoes. The sign of a good diner is being able to accommodate a request even if it is not on the menu.
Overall I’m pleased with Richie’s, it sent particularly special but I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Good food, good prices, my only complaint is my chocolate milk was a little warm.

I ordered the French toast and bacon meal. The French toast was really good and the bacon had a rich smokey flavour! On the other hand my bf ordered a full breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and pancakes. Everything except the pancakes were good. The pancakes were bland and tasted kind of salty. They were not eaten! The prices are a bit expensive for a diner. For 3 pieces of French toast and 4 pieces of bacon was $ 9.50. I will go back but I will not order pancakes.

Ok place for breakfast — basic eggs & bacon or pancakes. Not spectacular — the mushroom omelet is overloaded with mushrooms, half the mushrooms would be ok. Haven’t tried lunch or dinner here, I’d expect it to be basic too. Service is good & friendly.

The water was pretty good.
That’s about the best thing I can say about this place. Hands down, this has got to be THE worst meal I’ve eaten. (except maybe something I’ve cooked myself).
Well, all the other reviewers seemed to like it. Maybe there was a different cook when I went.
My opinion = Staff friendly. Food yuck.

Never been there for anything except breakfast, and I don’t feel bad about it! Delicious breakfast plates and all the coffee you can drink! Did I mention cheap?
The breakfast is satisfying enough that it takes away from the hideously dated decorating…

Came here for breakfast, it was my second time visiting. My order was a Western sandwich and a side plate of bacon. Price was great for the amount of food ordered, breakfast is usually cheaper than most meals but I found the prices here better than other breakfast restaurants. The sandwich was good, onions were not too overpowering, and the side bacon was supposed to be four slices but was closer to nine which was very pleasant. Overall, its a really nice breakfast place with a nice atmosphere, would definitely recommend it.

A classic diner serving competent food. Prices are very good — nothing much on the menu is more than $ 12 and most things are much less than that. Service is fast, and usually on the friendly side, especially if you’re a regular.
It’s a good place to take your kids (or your grandparents!)

I’ve eaten here plenty of times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I’ve never had a bad meal yet! The wait staff and very fast, attentive, and super friendly. The restaurant itself is very clean and has that old school diner feel. The food is made fast and to order! They have daily lunch and dinner specials as well so there’s always something new.
Personally I’ve tried the burgers, steaks, breakfast, various specials, etc, etc and they’ve all been great! Good portions for cheap prices, they always seem to be pretty busy but can usually accomodate well. Anyways I would highly reccomend it for a quick bite if your in the masonville area, and the breakfast is great too!
