Piping Kettle Soup Company

I was out geocaching with my daughter and it was time for us to refuel. She lives in London so I told her I felt like a good bowl of soup and this is exactly what she got me. Having not been there before the server opened all of the pots to show me the types of soup they had. I finally decided on a chicken curry mulligatawny soup served over rice. It was delicious. It was the perfect lunch and the prices are so reasonable.

Today my mom and I were out geocaching in the area and we started to get a bit hungry. I asked her what she wanted for lunch and she said she was in the mood for soup, and this was the first place I thought of. It’s local, and the soups here are always fresh and delicious!
I had the medium broccoli and cheddar soup and small turkey sandwich combo, and my mom had the Mulligatawny soup over rice. It was hot, and it tasted fresh and I absolutely loved the huge chunks of vegetables and cheese in my soup.
The café inside is small, half of it is seating, and the other half is for the preparations for your delicious soups and sandwiches! The staff here are super friendly and were patient with my mom, who hasn’t been here before and asking about all the specials and the soups that are available. She even gave us a visual to what the soups looked like so my mom could choose the one she wanted. This was a very personable service and this is what makes their restaurant a wonderful place in my books.

The Piping Kettle is very small inside but they have both seating as well as bar style seating by the window. The selection of soups is quote large in a daily basis, with several gluten free and vegetarian/​vegan options. The staff are very friendly, though I did ask about an ingredient in one soup and they weren’t sure, so I changed my mind to get something else I’d be sure to be okay eating. That being said, it didn’t ruin the experience for me as what I ended up with was tasty and fresh.
In addition to soup they have many sandwich and wrap options with a WIDE selection of toppings.

Awesome place for lunch, really good quality soups and sandwiches. Cheap too! Gotta try the apple smoothie it’s great.
BTW try the sweet potato soup you’ll get it every time!

Awesome food and atmosphere… It is quite small inside but still had a very nice relaxed feel inside. I love going there as they cater for pretty much any diet. If you wanted chicken soup but without the noodles they can do that for you. Very friendly staff and pretty dam helpful. Never had a bad experience yet. I love the fact that they have a wide range of sizes for the soups, you can have a snack sized soup or at the other end feed a family of three…

Great place if you are craving a hot bowl of deliciousness! Love that they have daily vegan and gluten free options but wish they would rotate soups more often. One can only eat so much sweet potato chowder.
