I don’t live in the area but if I did, McGinnis would definitely be a regular spot for me. I always sit in the bar which is nice because it is more lounge like and tame than most. Their food is pretty good, though basic for the décor. The bartenders always seem to be experienced and serve efficiently. They do a pretty good Bloody Caesar, and offer a discounted app menu in the bar (after 8pm weekdays I believe), which is a good deal. They could definitely use an expanded draught list though. All in all a great bar to head to if you’re not feeling a loud and noisy environment.

Recently hosted an even here of about 60 people, just casual drinks and food, not a sit down dinner or anything. The staff were really good at accommodating us on short notice, and the level of service overall was impressive. They have a private dining room off to one side that seats maybe 20 (was too small for our group), and seem to be good with large groups.

We have been going here for years. The bar is great, comfortable, and a great place to relax with a small group. The drinks are great, but the food the last few times has been very very average. Everything we ordered was over cooked and it all tasted the same.

Excellent food and service make this a restaurant I always find myself coming back to. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous.
The location is clean and family friendly and was recently renovated, giving the place a classy, somewhat upscale feel.
