When I first started riding, about 5 years ago, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I decided to go to Hully Gully because I know they had been in business for at least 25 – 30 years and I figured to last that long, they had to be good. When I first went in, it took a while and several moments of me looking bewildered before a staff member asked me if he could help. I told him that I was looking for a jacket & a helmet & he directed me to the proper area. I was disappointed to find that as a female rider, I had the choice of 5 jackets and 4 pairs of boots — half of which were high heels. I believe the selection has become better over the years, but it has been a slow progression and it is not a marked improvement. I have to admit, that I have been back a couple of times to see if things have improved, and each time I am still disappointed that it takes such a long time to get any of the staff’s attention. When I do eventually end up speaking with them, they do not seem terribly engaged or overly enthusiastic about the products. There are better motorcycle shops in the area with better prices, and I will continue to patronize those places where I feel my business is appreciated.
