David’s Bridal

My sister, who lives in Windsor, is getting married in October and she wanted to go to David’s Bridal for us to get our bridesmaid dresses, and since the dollar being as bad as it is, she and a few of her bridesmaids and our mother, traveled up to London on a snowy January Sunday.
We had an appointment at 11am with Rachel (the short one! hehe), and she was very dedicated to help us find sizes, colours and the style that my sister wanted for us. We had tried on a few different styles before deciding on a full length gown.
Seeing as the bride lives in Windsor, and all of the dresses didn’t arrive at the same time, and I do live in London, I went two times to pick up the dresses. The consultants there allowed me to pick up the dresses for the bride with ease! Which was awesome. We only had 7 days from the day we received the call/​email to pick up the dresses.
Thank you David’s Bridal for the wonderful customer service and selection on dresses. The prices weren’t bad either!
Eventually, when I get married I’ll be coming here for my bridesmaids dresses! Thanks again!

I was Maid of Honor for my best friend’s wedding this past month. About a week before the wedding, I tried on the dress just to make sure… and came to the horrifying conclusion that it did not fit! I went all over the place, looking for the dress in the right size, but it turns out that the stores in the United States did not carry it anymore and the website had also run out.
Desperate, I asked the salesperson at my local New Jersey, USA David’s Bridal to see if ANY store had the dress in my size. She found that the store in London, ON Canada did.
When I called this store, I found out that they cannot ship to US locations. I was devastated. I didn’t know anyone in Canada that they could ship it to instead. I was doomed!
«Hold on,» the person on the phone said. «Let me talk to my manager and see what we can do for you.»
When she came back on the phone, she said «You will not believe this, but my manager is going to be in NY this weekend and she said she is willing to hand-​deliver you the dress!»
I couldn’t believe it. I was stunned!
We arranged for me to go to NY and pick the dress up, and she even took back the smaller sized dress for an even exchange. I couldn’t believe my luck in finding this store, or how wonderful the staff at this store was. They really went above and beyond to help rescue me from being the one thing wrong at my friend’s wedding.
