I came here for dinner on a Monday night and the place was pretty empty. This gave us an opportunity to really admire the setting though. The restaurant is gorgeous and is set up in a house close to downtown London. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed the selection in their menu. It really gave a large range of dishes that were all prepared expertly. To start, we had the charcuterie and foie gras. They were both large enough portions to satisfy a group of 6. The items were also extremely unique with flavours that I have never tried before. For entrees, we had a mixture of duck leg confit, lobster tail, half chicken, and the steak. All of them were amazing. My dish, the duck confit, was definitely one of the best pieces of duck I’ve ever tasted. I got to try the other dishes and they were equally delicious. For dessert, we all shared the apple crumble which was a very refreshing end to our meal. Definitely a place worth visiting. It’s photogenic and fancy, with a delightful menu to back it up.

Overall, we had a wonderful meal. They accommodated our group of 10 people. The food was excellent. Their wine list was well curated and surprisingly well priced. I deducted a star because I thought our waitress was curt, bordering on rude, as she quickly said no to any requests without much thought. She also smelled like cigarette smoke, which was quite unpleasant. Fix the last point and this place is an easy 5 star review!

We are so happy to have stumbled upon Auberge de Petit Prince while traveling through London. We did bit have a reservation but were able to be seated on a Saturday evening. The carrot ginger soup du jour was delicious and the Caesar salad had the unique touch of large tender chunks of bacon. Both meals were outstanding: rainbow trout Niçoise salad and lobster tail with gnocchi and ratatouille vegetables. Our desserts were the perfect touch to a delicious meal. We will definitely make it a point to return here as the service was spot on as well.

We came as a group of 18 from all over the world, for a happy family occasion, based on recommendation of a local. Not a particularly picturesque neighbourhood, but WOW… what a delight once there! Ambience, food and warm welcoming staff made this a wonderful occasion. Really does transport guests to France. First some fresh pints and wine from the gorgeous bar and then a private dining experience. In fact, they opened the auberge just for us for this lunch reception. We never felt rushed during the three hour very classy and tasty feast. All dishes were way above average! Merci! Allen F.

I went here for a grad dinner with my family and although it was great food, it didn’t blow me away. I had a beet and goat cheese salad to start, which is a pretty standard combination, but they made it more unique by using a variety of beets including a pickled one. The beets were fantastic, but the salad was slightly underdressed. For my entrée I had the salmon, which was supposed to be pistachio-crusted, but due to nut allergies I asked for it to be left off. It came with cold pesto butter on top that melted over the fish within the first few minutes — it was delicious! I also really liked the herbed quinoa salad with dried cranberries that it was served over. My family also really enjoyed their meals — the French onion soup, pork tenderloin, and chicken rigatoni with bacon and mushrooms all got a thumbs up. In my opinion I thought the food was great, but it wasn’t remarkable — there was nothing special or different about the food that sets it apart from other restaurants.

Visited over a year ago and was quite surprised that a fantastic place existed in apparently a middle-of-nowhere like area. Really good French cuisine located at a surprisingly hidden location. I enjoyed the food, taste was great, the food was really colourful and well presented, and service was excellent. I thought for fine dining the price was alright — it wouldn’t be more expensive that other gourmet restaurants in London. And the quality was worth the splurge. Ordered escargots and French onion soup for appetizers. I was happy because you don’t get to order escargots all the time and they did a fine job. The soup was quite good, but not especially memorable. They have beef wellington here which my date ordered and enjoyed. I was also very happy because I got a seafood squid ink pasta and it came with a small side of greens. Really like how the different tastes interacted in my mouth, and wonderful presentation to stimulate appetite. Will visit again if I get the chance.

This is a quaint restaurant away from the main strip. It is cozy and has a nice ambience — good for a quiet dinner. Food-wise, I would call my experience average. They have a reasonable fixed price menu — for $ 45 I got a glass of sparkling wine, French onion soup(well done, the chef achieved great texture/flavour on the onions), duck confit(somewhat dry for my tastes, but still flavourful), and crème brûlée duo. Overall I found the restaurant to be a little pricey for the food quality, but it was a good experience nonetheless.
