went last night. had chicken slouvaki(no idea how to spell it!). she had the roast lamb. Both the chicken and the lamb were great! the potatoes were good. the greek salad tasted fresh. clean establishment. friendly staff. a couple extremely attractive servers. reasonable prices. the only thing i can complain about was the rice… ive been to many greek restaurants over the years and i think this is the only one who puts onions, celery and carrots in the rice. i didnt enjoy it. i dont like onions so i had to sift through my rice. also the carrots threw off the flavour of what good rice pilaff should taste like. the rice was also very dry. often greek places have a little bit oily rice with some nice spices in it. other than crap rice, this place is very good and would recommend it to anyone.

The food was fresh and delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant is small, but clean and inviting. We had Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Lamb Souvlaki, and Roast Lamb. The lamb had some bigger pieces of tendon in it(both the roast and the souvlaki), which is why it’s only getting 4 out of 5 stars. Next time we’ll have to try the Ekmek, but that would mean not finishing the entrées, since they are a good size and very filling.

If your new to the neighborhood like myself then this Greek restaurant is worth a try. We had the kotopoulo(chicken dish) and the classic chicken soulvaki. Both dishes tasted excelllent and had generous portions. I really liked the potatoes. For desert we had the special, a Bougatsa which the server said was to die for… she wasn’t kidding!!! Would definitly return.

The food here is so good that I haven’t enjoyed the last two greek restaurants I have been to in comparison. I love the dolmades, I dream about them at night.

Update: love the food but recently they changed it to that the specials no longer apply to take out orders. Guess they figured they were losing too much on booze sales. Disappointed because sometimes you just want to take a meal home and enjoy it in your personal environment.

If you like Greek food or might like Greek food or aren’t sure but think you’re keen to try Greek food, do it here. And a word of advice: save room for dessert and order the Ekmek. I seldom order dessert when I go out because dessert is dessert and I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. I like sugar(who doesn’t?) but I’ve never seen the point in eating something so high in calories if it’s not going to wow me. But I had it on good authority that the Ekmek at Poseidon was a real winner of a dessert and that to pass on it would be unadvisable. And wow! The rumors were true; it was unbelievable. I must also mention the mousaka was delicious. I find myself to be a conosur of this Greek dish and must say this is a must have at the restaurant! Our meals were large with plenty of food. I personally like that you certainly get your money’s worth it at these quaint owner run restaurants unlike the chain restaurants and their tiny expensive portions. Our meal started with a Greek Salad, saganaki and ouzo. The main dish came with delicious lemon potatoes, rice, veggies, tzatziki and pita. Highlights as I observed them: –Food was very, very good(my fiancé and I both were full and content) –Service was excellent(even though busy when we were there). –Good wine selection(including a number of Greek wines). –Wine prices were more reasonable in comparison to most restaurants(most restaurants triple – at least – the price for a bottle of wine. –Décor was the opposite of swanky but very cozy in a comfortable kind of way. –Jeans ok.

This is our favourite greek take out place. Yes we eat inside once in a while but we prefer to bring home where we can eat and drink and not drive. Our last take out had a beautifully moist chicken slouvaki, a decent lasagna, and my favourite, lamb. The greek salad is a perfect match to what i crave(minus onions, haha). Always a treat. Friendly people, never disappointed.

Ill keep this short… We decided to try this place after getting a coupon book through my son’s fundraiser for school. Figured we would try somewhere new and the reviews for this place were pretty good. Wish we hadn’t! The rice was soggy instant rice. I am pretty sure the vegetables were frozen. The roast of lamb was soggy mush. The kalimari was crunchy and had no flavor. I could go on. The server was decent and seemed nice enough but my water and coffee were never topped up. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it was nice inside, the prices were reasonable and our waitress was pleasant. Way better Greek places out there. Skip this one unless you like bland, poorly cooked«food»

We decided on a Greek night and my bf suggested Poseidon’s. We ordered the Artemis Platter for two. It came with: Roast lamb, one beef & one chicken souvlaki, calamari & lamb chops served with Greek salad, pita, rice & Roasted potato, tzatziki & veggies. Whew. It was a platter-o-meat extravaganza! I have never had lamb chops before or roasted lamb. I have had lamb souvlaki and I wasn’t that impressed before — didn’t find it very flavourful so I thought — meh lamb — OK I’ll try it. Let me just say this — it was THEMOST amazing piece of meat I’ve ever eaten. Sounds like I’m exaggerating but I’m not. It was moist, tender, FULL of flavor and perfect bits of salt in each bite — I took a bite and looked up at my bf with a look of amazement on my face — he laughed at me. I asked if I could kiss the cook — my bf said no. I will not be able to go back to eating anything else! meat sweats? yes — sexy hey? Don’t get me wrong they have vegetarian options too just don’t forget to ask for different rice because they cook the regular rice in chicken stock. The potatoes are buttery and lemony — I need to start trying to make some at home. The rice was moist and tasty too. I love me some good calamari and they make it really well there. Not oily, very fresh. I love their hummus — not too overly garlicky. The waitress was funny and attentive. This is a place that’s great for a romantic dinner or with family and friends. We will be back — Thursday’s roasted lamb night — YESPLEASE!

Server wasn’t kidding when asked what their signature dish was: the roast lamb. Of course, anything compared to Vancouver, will be considered good, if not, great size, enough for 2 meals. Tender, good taste. also liked their tzatziki. Next time i’ll try their home-made desserts. Owner started the Correli’s resto in Steveston, as a trivial fact haha. Typical décor, in a stand-alone house-like corner location, with street parking. A bit dim, and probably not as big as one would think. They off free delivery, quite a big area, 10 km.

WE had a large party of family here one night, and the Restaurant was very accommodating to us all. We had great service, and great food! The prices were ok.

I wish i could rate this restaurant higher. Langley really needs a great greek place. Unfortunately, when i gave this place another try recently i was reminded why it had been so long since last time. The saganaki(fried cheese) was rubber and cold, not sizzling hot and gooey like it should have been. The calamari, though large and a good portion was greasy, greasy, greasy! The pita bread was over grilled and way too buttery… too bad. The saving grace was the taramasalata, which is extremely hard to find on any local greek menus. While it wasn’t the best i’d had, it was good enough to fill that craving(along with the basket of pita they replaced the ‘burnt’ stuff with). Sadly though, i’m done here. I’ll wait til i’m in Vancouver and can go to one of the good ones on W Broadway.
