Beer is ice cold and servers are smokin hot. What more could you ask for. :)

Each time I visit the Moxies it is always a consistent and pleasant experience. Almost every time I go I always order the Sushi Cones and a Quesadilla, something about that Quesadilla and the cheese is great, the salsa is not too bad either.
This time I was there I wanted to try something different so I ordered the Beef Dip. Wow, what a great meal! I have to be honest too, I would eat that without the Au Jus. The Roast Beef was tender and juicy, the sautéed mushrooms with horseradish aioli was great and the warm and tender pretzel bun finished it off. I was not disappointed.
As always Bre is a great server, quick and friendly, and does not miss a beat. Jerome the owner is always smiling and up beat and you can see that he loves what he does.
The patio is a great spot to enjoy the sun as well, but I guess we need to wait for a few sunnier days.

I stayed at the attached hotel and stepped into Moxie’s for a quick beer and to watch sports on TV — both were great.
I noticed the staff was on the young and good-​looking side, not a problem for me.
Ambiance was dark and kinda trendy — I liked it.
Unfortunately, I didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the place more, but from what I experienced, it was all «A-​OK.»
3 solid… stars.

My husband and I had dinner at Moxie’s lastnight and it was fantastic! We ordered the naan tacos, med bread, blackened chicken burger, and steak and prawns. Everything was so flavourful! We both agreed that it was the best food we’d had since we stayed at a 5 star hotel on vacation.
The service was excellent; we could not have asked for a better place to have «date night»!

The food was delicious! Everything came out perfect.
I am taking 3 stars off for professional conduct, mismanagement, and one of the waitresses cursing in front of my children.
We saw employees on the clock eating and drinking wine all huddled together in the kitchen area by the door, then no evidence of washing hands but were handling other people’s plates to be served. I don’t want your dirty fingers that has been eating serving me my plate!
The manager was there! She was apart of the celebration.
Unprofessional and frankly if I owned a restaurant, I would not appreciate my staff drinking alcohol during work time.

The food was disgusting. I feel like I was robbed. Such a disappointment. The worst experience of food at a restaurant in my life. And it was disappointing because it was supposed to be a special night out. Had the waitress asked how the food was, I would have liked to send it back but she never came around to ask. We didn’t see her until it was time to pay the bill.

Came to this location for my birthday dinner service was really slow it took 20 mins just for the waitress to take our drink orders. Once me and my girlfriends made our order for food it took over 30 mins, the waiters and waitresses were too busy chatting up the business meeting group that was there. Food was good but dessert was a disaster. I’ve been to moxies before and have never had an experience like this and I won’t be back at this location.

This was one of the best meals out I’ve had in a long time! Definitely one of the best places in town. My husband said his steak was better than the high end steakhouses in New York we have been to. I loved the lettuce wraps, and the fish tacos were really tasty with a generous serving of fish. Service was quick, and the restaurant is really nice and chic. The drinks are delicious too. Lots of different margaritas. I think this just became my new favourite local place.

Came in because I didn’t want to drive (staying at the attached hotel). Nothing special about it, its an average chain restaurant. I had the parmesan chicken sandwich, they tried too hard. Too many flavors, it would have been better with out the sauce or cheese. Also no IPA on tap, bummer. Service was great. Normally at a place like this the girls aren’t friendly to a woman sitting by herself.

Stayed at the Sandman Hotel (adjacent to the Moxie’s Grill) for a night this past weekend. Upon arriving, we were tired and hungry and didn’t want to hunt for food, so we tried Moxie’s downstairs (and around the stair/​door maze, if you’re coming from inside the hotel!).
Having never been to a Moxie’s, wasn’t sure what to expect. I need to eat gluten-​free and it looked like they offered some choices for me to eat, so I figured I’d give it a try. I was definitely glad I did! Service was great, we were seated and served promptly. I asked for a gluten-​free menu and received one, and was also then asked if it was dietary decision or something more severe like an allergy. I explained I have celiac disease and they acknowledged that and gave me some time to look at the choices, then another person (I think an owner or manager type?) came to the table to go over the selections available, and to see if they’d need any further modifications beyond what they’d already written on the menu. I ordered a chicken dish (normally served breaded, so this was served with a crispy skin instead) that was served atop grilled vegetables, with a slice of (fancy) goat cheese on top. It was SO delicious, I did not get sick, and to continue the confidence of my meal needs, the same person who spoke to me about my Celiac also was the one who brought my food to me (might seem like a small thing, but it means a lot).
They also have delicious Somersby ciders, and a gluten-​free beer, but I stuck with the ciders because they’re a tasty non-​US treat.

First time here… gotta to say I’m lovin it right off the hop. Greeted and seated right away. Waitress is at our side with specials and ready to take drink orders. We are not feeling rush… really. Special appie dish is made for us… great drinks.
Now dinner… fantastic choices we made… loads of flavour. Will return and so should you. One con; the waitress was pretty plastic and we kept looking for the pull string on the back of her neck… an easy thing to let go as we weren’t there to make friends with the staff.

OK, kudos to the crew here. First sirloin with lobster butter was no good due to a strip of grisel down the middle. I mentioned it, they cooked up a new steak and it was perfect. That’s how you do it in the F&B business. Thank you. I will be back just because of that level of service.

This review probably covers all Moxie’s not just this particular location.
Service: 4/​5, could not ask for much more especially since I was so appalled by my bad food that they took it off my bill. Merci.
Ambiance/​Décor: This location is NICE, really NICE. Beautiful top floor, outdoor patio and heating. Fantastic honestly would come back just for the upstairs space.
Food: 1/​5, Revolting! I had without a doubt the most disappointing Veggie Burger in the lower mainland. Honestly, I understand through this experience why this chain is not known within this department for amazing food, but seriously this Veggie burger was not even pub-​quality. So disappointing.
I would certainly return here for drinks with friends, but I could not bring myself to return here to eat after today. Moxie’s really needs to think about the quality of product they are putting together because my burger from the patty to the bun fell horrifically short.

Traveling with my family of 5 this restaurant was perfect. The manager talked to us and was very accommodating, the wait staff provided great service. The food took a few to come out but was worth the wait. The best quesadillas I have had. Kids enjoyed it so much we had to return the next morning for breakfast. It was great you have to try the eggs Benedict. Cost was average!

This location is right near my work so its our go to when someone has a birthday or is leaving the office. They always are really great about taking our order a few hours before and its always ready and hot when we get there. The server always splits our bills up which is great as well.
I really like the sushi cones, so tasty! They are something I actually crave and need to get time and time again! I’ve heard the arugula salad is really good too. It is a bit pricy there but the food is good. The only time I didn’t enjoy my food was when I ordered the lettuce wraps and the lettuce looked like it had been almost frozen, it had that clear look to it… wasn’t that great. The calibeau chocolate cake is AMAZING. the best chocolate dessert I’ve ever had.
The one thing I was a little shocked about was the state of the patio. The fireplace looks horrendous. Whoever designed it didn’t take into account that it rains in BC, there is rust marks going down the seams of whatever product they used surrounding the fireplace and the glass where the fire is was milky and really mouldy looking. yikes! there are food stains on the fabric furniture and grease stains on the concrete. Looks like it needs to be cleaned up and maintained… not something I expected for a higher class bar-​type restaurant. It was a total turn off and I don’t think i’ll be sitting outside anytime soon. Its such a stark contrast to the sexy high class style inside.
I’ve been to other locations and this one is really good (if you sit inside).

Food wasreally good.
We split a prawn tempura cone… seemed like a strange choice for this type of place, but was amazingly good.
Shared a pizza, which was really good, but a little heavy on the hot peppers.
I was Ok with that, wife not so much.
There were also a lot of little kids there, which seemed weird for that type of place, but I guess becuase it is attached to hotel, and there is not a lot of other places around, what choice do they have.
White chocolate brownie for desert is amazing!
Only big negative was the service.
It took a really long time to get our drinks, our food, our desert, and really long time to get our bill.
It was not that busy…
I think we would go back

A bit pricy, but always a good eat. I usually share the meals with my sweetie since they are so big.

A very nice restaurant in an odd part of town, but easy to get to and very nice ambiance. We had a party of 6, they accommodated us well, and food was outstanding. Quick service and a great menu selection. They are very kind and sensitive to food allergies and will make every attempt to prepare your food accordingly. The salads are fresh and very tasty. I had the dry rib appetizer for my meal along with a side salad and it was spot on. It’s clean, nicely appointed and friendly. We will be back I’m sure.

Great service and atmosphere. I was surprised that a «moxies» felt high end. I would definitely recommend. I ate lunch, and dinner there… both great. I saw Donald Sutherland here last time I ate…(I’d like to say I met him, but we didn’t really hang out).

This is an upscale restaurant and part of a chain.
We had a great experience at this Langley location. Service was good, ambiance was very nice (I felt a tad under-​dressed), and the food was good. Two in our party had the salmon with pineapple salsa and really enjoyed it. Another had the steak and garlic-​smashed potatotes and thought it was good. I had the loaded burger and really liked it.
Guys, bring your horse blinders if you’re with your gal. The waitresses are young, attractive, and wearing short, tight dresses.
