Fast friendly service, good food, price and portion sizes — nothing fancy but my whole family was happy with their meal — what more can you ask for? I’ll definately go back again.

Bad take out experience. In town for a volleyball tournament. searched for places to eat near by. I have dined at this restaurant awhile back with my family and remember it to be a decent place. Called ahead and ordered two chicken sandwiches, one with fries, one with coleslaw. Opened the container of the sandwich with coleslaw, to find that it had spilled all over the container(the slaw was in a styrofoam container, with no lid) the liquid from the slaw had soaked the bottom bun of my sandwich. I was not happy. Especially when i paid 22 $ for the two sandwiches, you think they could afford the 5 cents for the lid, or even for a wrapper for the sandwich. Overall the slaw was just okay, my dads is way better. And the sandwich was good, but i ate it without the bun. Its safe to say i wont be rushing back, not for take out anyways.

I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant! The food was really good, and the portion sizes were a good size as well. My server was very friendly and gave us a great experience. I over all think that the whole experience was great and would definitely go again for a fireside burger. The prices were on point!

Mmmmm just came from here, me and my girlfriend had the loaded potato skins and the spinach and artichoke dip. It was pretty good, not a big fan of spinach in general but this dip was actually really good. But the loaded potato skins were amazing they were so crunchy and cheesy and delicious. Only giving it 4 stars cause I haven’t experienced the restaurant during supper rush or the whole menu.

I am giving this place 2 ½ stars. Decided to do take out. Called and was told senior menus do not apply. We ordered two liver dinners with extra gavies, hamburger steak dinner with fries and extra gravy. They missed the fries and three gravies. Lesson learned…

I came here before for dinner and was pleased with chicken souvlaki and that was really good we also got chicken fingers and it was a lot of filler… came in today for breakfast and was pretty disappointed I got scrambled eggs and they were so oily definitely wouldn’t recommend breakfast, toast tasted funny too, would go else where for breakfast but for dinner souvlaki is the best thing on the menu

A «breakfast place» that focuses on quantity and speed. Reliable but very average food wise. The servers are quick and efficient. The atmosphere clean and comfortable. The portions are not Texan, but still more than enough for all but the biggest of appetites. Coffee is at your table almost as soon as you sit down. The eggs(be they fries or benedict) come out quickly. The place is busy and it is not unusual to have to wait in line on a weekend morning — but the service is fast and even lingering over a third cup of coffee you will be done in an hour.

I’ve gotten the hungry man a few times hoping that it would do better or I just had the wrong cook when I go. Portion wise I say it’s not bad. I got two eggs, two pieces of bacon, two pieces of sausages, toast, pancakes, home fries, and a little cup of beans. The bacon and sausages were really greasy the times I came, the pancakes had an odd taste to them but the French Toast is better, the beans I don’t eat since they taste like canned beans, the other things were good but then again they were eggs and deep fried home fries. I also get a glass of orange juice to go with this. If you’re out and about or lazy to make breakfast, maybe try here, it was about $ 10 for the meal and $ 3 for one glass of orange juice. Service wise: should improve. Personally, I never get checked on or if I need some thing, no one is there or I get ignored. One time I called out for the waitress and she walked pass. She went to chat up a regular customer sitted diagonally from us for what seemed to be 10 mins. The only time they are happy and smiling for me is when I pay.

We came in an hour before closing time for late dinner. Luckily the staff was nice and generally attentive albeit a bit awkward at times. The portions were huge and the food was good but nothing overtly special. The restaurant is fairly dated but it did have a very low key feel. I would go again but will definitely consider sharing.

Order a pizza caesar that came out raw dough my friend had a $ 23 quesadilla with chicken wow we were shock at that price, you can buy a 10oz steak dinner for that price, that wasn’t a flour tortilla with 2oz of cheese on it Mash potatoes are from a bag so are the servers red head there smelled of vodka at 2 in the afternoon I think this bag an box business should only do breakfast at lease that’s fresh

This is by far the best breakfast place around, I always go here for lunch when I can. They serve breakfast until 2:00

If you equate quality with large portion sizes then this is your place. But if you are looking for tasty food I would say that Fireside is very bland and very inconsistent with their meals. Their smoked meat is a 3.5 star but overall experience is simply a 2 star. I will return periodically through out the year(3 times) because of its location but otherwise I wouldn’t go.

We thought we would try something new in town and I’m glad we did. The place was super busy and it took a while to get seated. We ordered the fireside burger, jumbo smoked meat platter, regular smoked meat sandwhich, and the nachos. We had to wait over 40 min to place our order, but it was worth the wait. Massive portions on all plates! See my pictures for proof! If you have time to wait, this place has awesome value!

If you don’t care about ambience or great service and you’re just looking for a massive, fatty pile of tasty but not great food, then this is the place for you. The portions were ridiculously huge(my sandwich had a week’s worth of meat on it) and their prices are reasonable, but they offer very little else. The tables are crowded together and the wait staff seems completely disorganized as they herd patrons through as quickly as possible. Put simply, this place seems to have been designed for fat people who want to get fatter and don’t care about anything other than portion size. Not horrible, I suppose, but I’ll never return.

Good fatty American breakfast with European touches. Once in lifetime is good.

If you like Eggs Benedict then avoid the ones here. I don’t know what was in the«Hollandaise» but it was cold. My best guess would be mayonnaise and food colouring. The home fires were good though. Everything else my party had looked good, and there were no complaints. Maybe it’s just an issue with the Eggs Benedict, but I won’t be giving those a second chance.

We bought a groupon for 10.00 dollars and was intilted to 20.00 dollars worth of food, so we decided to go just for lunch, we ordered two different ruben sandwiches the one was with soup, We couldn’t believe the size of the plates that arrived. they were huge at least a quarter of a bag of french fries on both were on the plate and the sandwiches had at least over a pound of meat on them also two coleslaw and a large dill pickle. mine had sauerkrout on it also, the service was great we can’t complain at all. but it was early in the day just before noon so it wasn’t really busy but seemed to be filling up when we were leaving. so if your hungry try this place out you get lots for your money. we paid just 5.00 and change for the both of us for these two huge meals and walked out with a large doggy bag it was so much we were able to have the rest for our supper that night.

I have friends that really like the Fireside and often tell me to come here. However, I am somewhat more ambivalent. Even though I live near this restaurant, I find myself coming here less and less often. The food’s quality is surely trumped by its quantity, and coupled with the efficient but often hurried service, I don’t find it particularly enjoyable. However, it is very family friendly, and is often so busy that there are lineups outside the restaurant during peak times.

I dislike fireside. It’s often really busy, and I don’t understand why. If you’re vegetarian, you could have eggs, or salad. Everything I’ve seen, or tasted here has been mediocre, at best. I would suggest going to the grocery store across the street.
