Boston Pizza

I don’t usually write reviews but this place is awesome! We came for a bowling birthday party but will be back to enjoy the patio. We like Boston Pizza food but this takes it to a whole new level. I wish I could include our pics because you have to see this place to believe how cool it is.

I’ve been here a few times now & considering I didn’t even know it existed before, it’s definitely a hidden gem. Yeah it’s a chain, but the patio is HUGE & the live music is fantastic on Thursdays! They also have tons of TVs for sporting events & while I’ve neglected to support my NHL teams, I’m planning to watch a game or two of the Euro Cup here.
As for food, I’ve had their sampler plate, cactus cut nachos, pizza burger sliders & chicken calzone. All have been super delicious, although a friend of mine said to get a side of marinara with the calzone — she was right on the money! Makes it that much tastier.
Service can be a little slow sometimes, but I haven’t found it to be too bad. The servers I’ve had have always been in good spirits & apologetic so it hasn’t bothered me!
Also, their Caesar with the bacon in it? AMAZING.

Went there last Thursday with some family. Had a great time on the HUGE patio with live music. Had the bb&k salad and it was very good! We also had a little boy in our group who’s gf and it made his day that there was actually a great tasting option for him (the gf pizza). We decided to try out the indoor ping pong to, none of us were very good at it but we had a blast! We didn’t get to bowling during that visit but we will definitely be going back and trying that next time!

The food was okay, but the service was incredibly slow. We waited 15 – 20 minutes to get our bill. From where we were sitting we could only see one other group of people in the dinning area. I feel like the dinning gets neglected for bowling.
My experience with Boston Pizza in general has been very hit or miss, leaning on miss, but this one was especially off the mark.
Expensive, okay food, and poor service. Likely won’t come back to this location anytime soon.

I normally don’t eat at chain restaurants if I can avoid them not because I am a food snob but because I prefer to support mom and pop locations BUT we were in the area for the Ever After Fest (don’t ask lol) and needed a place to chow down.
Our waitress was possibly the sweetest lady that ever existed and was just so lovely. They had Innocente craft beer on tap (trust me, that’s awesome) and a great menu deal for four peeps for $ 39.99. This deal included an app, salad, main, and dessert! WHAT!
We opted for the bruschetta, garden salad, deluxe/​veggie pizza (yes, they let us split toppings for no extra charge!), and four mini desserts — warm brownies with ice cream (OMG YUM).
Food was great and service was even better. Plus this place actually has a bowling alley and water park attached?! Solid choice if in the area IMO.

Most disorganized place ever. Made a reservation for 9pm. Place was deserted when we arrived at 8:50, and yet didn’t get seated until 9:15.
Ordered drinks, only half arrived 15 minutes later. Ordered meals, took nearly an hour and forgot one persons order completely, and brought it out once everyone else had finished eating, and half of another person’s and didn’t even offer to comp anything. Brought the bills out and it took them FOUR tries to get them right.
And let me remind you, the place was basically empty. And there were at least 7 people waiting tables– probably one server per table. Not sure if this is relevant to the level of service, but I don’t think I saw a single employee over the age of 19 the whole night. There didn’t appear to be any senior management of any kind, just a lot of high school kids with very confused looks on their faces trying really hard but failing miserably at just about everything.
Plus the washrooms were a MESS. Paper towels all over the floor, none in the dispensers, garbage can overflowing.
I don’t like chain restaurants, because generally I find them bland and uninspiring. But you can usually count on decent enough service. Don’t expect that at this Boston Pizza.

Meal took a long time to come out then when it did it was cold. Waitress was clearly overloaded and the manager was too busy trying to smooth things over with other customers. One table remained uncleared for the hour + we were there. Other tables were clearly taking way too long to service too. Got a very generous discount on price though, which was thoughtful. Will give another shot, everybody has a bad day every now and again.

Great atmosphere. Bowling, arcade, billiards, and patio. Lots of tvs. Good selection of drinks reasonably priced. Friendly, fast service.

It was our second time visiting this very unique location. Bowling and Boston Pizza rolled into one. I should note that the first time we visited, it was a fantastic experience.
This afternoon, we were told it would be a 1 hour wait for the bowling lanes. Understandable, it was Saturday after all. We decided to have dinner while we waited. After what felt as a very long wait, we asked the waiter to check how long a wait we still had. He checked and told us that it we were next. After waiting for at least another ½ hour and well over 2 hours from when we entered the restaurant, I went to check. I was told that ‘we were next’.
I told the hostess that we were told it would be 1 hour and that we were ‘next’ over ½ hour ago. She was clearly defensive and inconsiderate in her response. I was not impressed. I not only spent a lot of money for dinner and bowling, I was now billed more because were now delayed past 6pm. Robbery!
Finally, during our bowling, the system ‘froze’. I hit the button for service. Immediately I had a response and told that I would have service in a few minutes. We waited over 20 minutes. No one showed. I hit the buzzer again and now, no response. We finished our game with scores we knew were not correct.
I have given this review 2 stars only as a result of having a great experience last time. This experience was terrible and I felt that no one cared because of how busy they were.
We will be better off spending our entertainment dollars elsewhere, next time.
