I was on the way back to Toronto from Montréal, and I got super hungry in the middle, so I dropped by in Kingston at 10pm. Luckily the store was still open, I ordered dumpling maki, California maki and miso soup, they were great!!! I was so satisfied with the food. I wish I can find a similar store in Toronto!

I had miso ramen and it was surprisingly good! I didn’t have high expectations because of the picture on the menu. But it is definitely one of the best miso ramen I’ve ever had!

Lunch specials! Portions were huge and honestly the food was pretty decent. We were in a rush so I didn’t get to try most of my food but what I did have was quite good. Miso soup had too much soy sauce in it but it was edible.

My first visit to this place was pretty good. There are a lot of sushi joints to choose from these days, but this one is definitely competitive. Firstly, their prices for basic rolls is pretty good for Kingston, and even their deluxe ones don’t break the bank. I wasn’t that hungry and just got the green dragon, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality, presentation and portion. Service was very friendly and efficient, and the place seems clean and well kept.

Fantastic ramen and Korean food and the addition of sushi has made a fantastic full menu. Food is fresh and presented nicely. Great choice and delicious sauces. I’ve become a new regular. Recommend the Kingston roll, spicy salmon and nigiri. Aps like tofu, dumplings and miso are perfection. Dumpling sauce is uniquely delicious. Nom. Downfalls: Sad there is no omasake. Service is a bit slow still. Needs better wine selection

Small Korean-owned Japanese restaurant in Kingston(Princess/King). They’re one of the few places that opens late(11:30am-11pm); closed on Mondays. This a la carte Japanese serves great quality food at a good speed with good service. Design inside is nicely done, simple and traditional. Bathrooms are the stairs by the entrance. They serve do serve alcohol and here’s a quick glance: Pop ~ $ 1.50 Sake(Hakutsuru) ~ Sm(120ml) $ 7/Lg(300ml) $ 12 Other sake ~ $ 12 – 25 Soju ~ $ 18 – 20 Beer ~ $ 4 – 7 Draught Beer ~ $ 7 – 18(pitcher) Wine Bottles ~ $ 25 – 40 House Wine ~ $ 4.50−25(glass to bottle) What stands out for me is that they have a bigger selection on rolls than most Japanese restaurant. Check out their website online If you order items where miso soup and salad is included, beware the salad dressing may be a bit more sour than you think. I ordered the following(photos uploaded): Beef teriyaki w/rice — Good beef, good portion and temperature Chirashi —($ 18) Good quality sashimi and presentation Sushi & Sashimi Dinner Combo —(12 pcs @ $ 17) Good quality sashimi, thick cuts and nice presentation on China plates(not plastic) Bar Sashimi Dinner Combo —(18 pcs @ $ 20)(12 pcs @ $ 17) Good quality sashimi, thick cuts and nice presentation on China plates(not plastic) Flying Dragon Da Roll — Dynamite roll, spicy scallop torched on top. They were bigger in size than normal, not too spicy. I did expect more torched burnt flavour than what I got. The scallops were mixed with tempura bits so I didn’t taste them quite as much but still very good and filling. They served some berries with chocolate drizzle as dessert. Overall, lovely place with good food. I would come back. I’m surprised Kingston would have this. Do check them out :) They have karoke upstairs too.

I’ve been there 3 days in a row. Day 1: I shared a lunch special with one person. It came to a total of 11,30 $, which is an amazing price! It comes with a soup and a salad. We had the dynamite sushi and the spicy salmon maki. It was fantastic! So many flavours and textures! Day 2: I shared another lunch special; Same price. It was still delicious! This time, we had sushi B(sashimi and spicy salmon maki). All the flavours where there and the crunchiness was perfect! Day 3: since yesterday’s sushi B was so amazing, we decided to get it again. Today, the seaweed was damp and the crunchiness in the spicy salmon maki was nowhere to be found. We got 2 soups, but no salad. We were greatly disappointed. When we told the waitress about it, she said that it’s probably because of the rain, but it is highly unlikely that the rain damped the food in a few minutes. Since it has disappointed us once, it has probably happened before as well and it will probably happen again. Hence, we shall not return, but those first 2 days will not be forgotten.

Really tasty rolls(e.g black spider, salmon), and really nice service. The price is great too(compare to restaurants like Sima, good sushi but pricey and small bite size). One thing that can be improved is the Korean food(like bibimbap), which can be a bit more flavourful and well cooked.

Hands down best sashimi in town, wonderful maki rolls too. Ramen has good portion and tastes amazing. Service has always been attentive which is a plus.

Pretty good, but it feels like the restaurant is just going through the motions of a restaurant… Pretty bland and not very innovative.
