I love burritos. I love fajitas. El Asador combines both of these in a wonderful dish called«The Midnight Special» with either beef(my favourite), chicken, or just veggies, and it is the greatest Mexican mashup I’ve ever tasted. Jose uses fresh ingredients, and grills it up on the spot! I can honestly say, without exaggeration, that I eat there at LEAST once or twice a week. It’s fast, healthy, affordable(under 10 dollars for a meal that leaves you full and satisfied), and they will cook it as spicy(or as mild) as you’d like. If you have a craving for authentic Mexican food, coupled with fast, friendly service, look no further. Don’t let the modest exterior and interior décor fool you. This is the best Mexican food in Kingston, hands down. Tacos, burritos, fajitas, even a taste of India with a spicy vindaloo wrap! I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Really great bean burritos and I always ask the guy to make it spicy. I have never been disappointed with the burrito. It’s a great little place, you will probably not want to go in when you see it from outside but please do go in and try the yummiest burrito :)

Was an OK burrito, needs more spices and meat. Nice place, friendly guy.

Curries, burritos, and curry burritos, open until 2am. Ya, I know. Amazing. I’m a big fan of the melt-your-face-off spicy can-barely-fit-my-hands-around-it-big Vindaloo wrap. I almost took away a star because when I busted in here in a panic with my friend’s drowned cell phone, Jose charged me $ 6 for a takeout container of dry rice. Really Jose? After all we’ve been through? $ 4 and a little more rice would have been more reasonable! The phone was lost, but my El Asador fandom was not. This place is a must-visit if you’re in Kingston.
