Lovely lagoon front view… perfect for writer’s inspiration! Enjoy a cuppa or ice cream or some Rocky Mountain chocolate.

Cute little bakery that also serves homemade breakfast, lunch and light dinner options. It’s also connected to the only Baskin Robbins in the area which was a little funny to see. We went for breakfast and it took us a while to decide which of the only 3 or 4 options to chose because they all sounded(and looked) delicious. It was also tempting to try one of their many homemade pies or cookies but it was only breakfast so we all split a giant blueberry muffin. We aren’t leaving the area for two more days but we all agreed we need to come back at least one more time before leaving. Yummmm!

Delicious Mocha and the strawberry and fresh peach scones were delicious! Crunchy exterior of a biscuit with a moist center with a bit of marscapone. The baker was a doll and I can’t wait t go back for some of her fresh baked cookies!

Had tuna sandwich and Pulled pork split with my wife and exceeded expectations. The side salad was fresh and nice house dressing to top it off.

Uh … so much more than just an — ‘espresso bar’!!! I always love going to Harrison Lake — only problem is now in the past — found a fantastic place to eat! To be honest I struggled thinking about where I was going to eat while driving up here! The food offerings at Harrison in the past had been — shall I say — boring, dull & really nonexistent! Enter MWEB — a must try — fresh tasty scrumptious delightful food — right along the main strip facing the lake. A short easy pleasant walk from the Harrison Hotel. Restaurant has small tables & limited seating but if the weathers great — get your order to go — cross the street & sit on a bench facing the lake — enjoy! The full name of the restaurant might fool you a bit like it did me — it’s more than just a simple espresso bar — & the ‘Muddy Water’ part had me thinking — do I really want to eat here?! But I can 100% tell you — the food here is outta this world!!! Saturday — I wondered in here & saw the black board with various menu options — my eyes got fixated on — the Bison Burger! I was now back here on Sunday — & yes — for the Bison Burger! On both days the place was busy with a lineup to order — but remember this — it’s worth the short wait for your food! I have generally found great bison burgers only in the USA — so I was super glad I found a joint that sold it here outside Metro Vancouver — all the way up at Harrison. Wow oh wow! We had a wonderful salad with it & a Crab Burger & soup. Ok the sauce in my burger — shut the front door — it was unbelievable! I loved it! The salad dressing they used — ok this place has something special going on! And as for the soup that came with the Crab burger — OMG! The king of all soups is right here! Tomato & red peppers with what must be a dash of something secret no one will ever know — this is by far the best soup I’ve had in years!!! For desert we tried the Chocolate Chip Walnut Sea Salt cookies! Wow — get at least 3 for yourself! Yummy! Expect to pay a little more for your food here — but remember — the experience you have here is going to be like none you have had before!!! Relax, eat & enjoy some of the best views of Harrison Lake while eating here! Did not have an espresso — so someone will have to let me know how it was! All I can say is — get here now!!!

Great coffee and fresh pastries. I love how they use freshly roasted beans from the local Backporch roasters. I only wish I had come for lunch, because it all looked so great.

We were here in winter… so maybe off season. Service was great, coffee was great and breakfast sandwich combination of ingredients creative and could be executed perfectly with a better cook. Scrambled eggs in sandwiches were WAY over-cooked, curdled and rubbery. Such a waste of good egg and cheese pairings.

I’m so happy to find Muddy Waters! The food is fresh and yummy! I stayed at Harrison Hot Spring Resort and breakfast was included in our hotel fee, but I went to Muddy Waters for breakfast twice! Brie w/pear on cranberry bread is highly recommended!

I had a beverage to start(chai latte) which took me until lunch time in which I had the pulled pork sandwich with a spicy squash soup. Everything tasted fantastic but the thing that really stood out was the friendliness of the barista. I was able to sit and observe for quite some time as I enjoyed my beverage and meal and saw how she interacted with the many customers that came in. She was kind and polite and knew many by name.

My wife and I(in our 60s) stopped in for food after reading reviews of this restaurant. My wife was disappointed when informed by the young counterman that the kitchen had closed 2 minutes before(at 4) and they were no longer taking cooked food orders. She accepted that information with regret but without complaint and consoled herself with a coffee and pastry. In a few minutes, a middle-aged and –sized lady came in and looked at the menu. I told her the kitchen was closed which she then confirmed with the counterman. At 4:20, a thin, chatty young lady arrived and ordered two take out boxes of food including cooked to order food. As he took the order, the counterman cast periodic, furtive glances towards my wife, clearly wondering what she was making of being denied service while someone arriving much later ordered and left. Here is what she made of it: if you are a young, thin female this is the restaurant for you. If you are older or not thin, it is not. This rude, discriminatory behavior is all the more disappointing in Canada, a country marked by the civility and fair-mindedness of its citizens and culture. If, like us, you are tempted by Muddy Waters’ reviews, you would be wise to have a young, thin, female submit your order.

Wow! Seriously yummy food. And so needed in HHS. This delightful little café has a laid-back appeal and a wonderful view out to the lagoon, lake, and mountains beyond. The service is good and friendly. Even when they are seriously busy, we have always gotten a table and our food has been prompt. But seriously~ the FOODISAMAZING. Super fresh and yummy and original. Has the taste and feel of chef inspired dishes, made perfectly with the freshest ingredients. So refreshing, as a lot of small tourist towns don’t have something delightful and dependable. This place is just plain yummy as well as affordable. We have eaten there several times since the new owners took over~ in the past couple of years I think~ and every time it has been scrumptious. Our last visit we shared a few things: The breakfast egg Portuguese bun sandwich and fresh fruit, pulled pork sandwich, pear brie melt and thai chicken soup(this was over the course of two days;) and every single dish was bang on and so satisfying. They also serve yummy coffees and treats as well. Every single dish is well thought out and well presented. We are so delighted and look forward to our next visit. Thanks!

Best place to eat in town and reasonably priced. Wish we discovered this on the first day so we didn’t have to try all those other mediocre joints. I had a venison burger and it was fantastic. My group also had buffalo with salad and a crab/salmon burger. Everyone loved their dish. Service was friendly. Also a coffee bar so coffee is available too. Honestly wish I had one of these in my home town. Best food of the trip so far!

This café/restaurant is BYFAR the best place to eat in Harrison Hot Springs. There were quite a few I didn’t even want to try based on the reviews or prohibitive pricing, and we tried a couple others but Muddy Waters blew them out of the… water. We went there for coffee in the morning, the Americano was good, frapp was decent, and choc chip cookie and cheese scone were home made, fresh, and delicious. It was so good and the other options so dreadful, we went back for dinner as well. Such a good choice! I had the chicken taziki wrap with minestrone soup. it was again, fresh and delicious! Especially the soup, which was clearly home made. My husband had the bison burger and chips, which he said was good. I overheard that the bison and venison burgers are made by hand in house. The décor and service were both good. The man who seemed to be the owner was there, working all parts at once and being super friendly at the same time! Pricing was decent for the quality of food and service, given the resort town price hike you would expect. All in all, I would not waste my time or money on another restaurant in Harrison, this one has them beat!

Came here to go jet skiing! Omg THISPLACEISSOOOOOOGOOD! There chicken wrap is just on a whole different level! its soooooooo sooooooo good! The only reason why they are not getting 5 stars is because the bathroom ISACTUALLLYDISGUSTING. I just don’t understand why they don’t do something about that. There were flies EVERYWHERE in the bathroom, it just disgusts me.

Stopped for a great cup of coffee and a scone. Seating outside was wonderful under the covered seating area. The burger and salad that the couple next to us looked great as well. Lots of scones and muffins and cakes. I like bistros and this is one I would return to.

First thing I noticed when I walked in was the cozy café feel that Muddy Waters Café had. The food presentation was superb and the breakfast bun with some sour cream was delicious. In this case, the quality made up for the quantity. The salad and fruit sides seemed very fresh and there was something about the aged cheddar that made it just melt in your mouth. Our server was happy and in a good mood. Only qualm with this place: it was pretty packed during brunch — lunch hours. It was hard to find a seat and when a two seat table opened up, our three person party had to pull a chair that another table wasn’t using and that ended up blocking a walkway until the table behind us left. And it only got worse when we left, but I guess thats because we came during peak hours. Other than that however, the food and service were great!

Team Tastic came here for brunch and ordered a Toasted English Muffin(with cream cheese, scrambled eggs, wild smoked coho salmon lox, and Spanish onion). First off, this was a beautiful dish with a fruit salad on one side and the muffins on the other. The egg mixed well with the salmon but I wish the bun was a little more toasted. I noticed the addition of capers in the dish which was a nice touch because I love the tangy flavour of capers. The fruit salad was also a good combination of colour and freshness. Everything was arranged nicely and super easy to chomp into. We also got a breakfast burrito which was pretty standard fare but I didn’t get a chance to get into it. It was probably good since I didn’t hear any complaints about it. All in all, this was a cute little food stand and one of the few places open early in Harrison.

There aren’t many places to go in Harrison, and hubs and I were hoping for a good espresso drink. This place made great americano’s and the cookies were delicious home baked goodness. Pricing is a little steep, but that’s Harrison for you! Browsed the food menu and were sad we weren’t hungry, those burgers sounded amazing.
