Yogurty’s Froyo

YF is nice becuz it gives their membership owner one free birthday cup ($ 5 value) per year. Some new released flavours are creative but weird. Classic flavours like red velvet or chocolate are worthy to try.

One of the franchised brands, this particular yogurtys is in a beneficial location as it is located right by McMaster University. A ton of students line up to buy yogurt that I feel like the place is understaffed. Sometimes i want to try their new flavours, but because only one staff is working, he or she won’t have the time to hand out taster cups.
Sometimes the yogurt tastes like it’s mixed with powder and for the price of yogurt per weight, I think that purchasing gelatos in Europe would be much more worth it than spending money here.
Furthermore, they have a points card system which let’s you save up for a free treat. For some reason, the machine at this particular location is never able to give me my points.
Sometimes the seats are completely filled, and I recognize that it’s because a lot of students come here.
On the plus side, I like the concept of yogurtys where you get to customize your own ice cream flavour, toppings and sauces! Also, employees are always friendly!

Really convenient location right across from the southern edge of Hamilton University. They have about 10 different flavors, which included Red Velvet, Green Apple, Tart, Hamilton, and Chocolate when I went. Wished that some of the flavors were more creamy and less sweet.
Big plus about this place is the HUGE amount of topping they have. Literally row upon row of choices — can’t imagine there being something you’d like that they don’t have.

The froyo here was really delicious! I tried the root beer and the pink velvet, both of which were very flavorful and not too sweet. The only downside is that there were not a large number of flavors available.

When you show urban mcmaster id you will get one dollar off on Monday. Oh you can get a sample bowl to try different flavors. I love Captain America flavor which is a combination of chocolate and vanilla obviously. Candy cotton is also a must have. Don’t forget to spread the almond debris and juicy bubbles on top of urban icecream

I have been to this location a few times and I like that are constantly changing the flavors and toppings. You are billed by weight, so you can get as much or as little as you like. I have tried only a few flavors and toppings and enjoyed them all!
The atmosphere is nice however it can be pretty busy at times and you might not get a seat.
Overall, I would recommend this location to a friend.
