Fantastic spot! Food was excellent! Vegetarians there is a lentil and chick pea burger that got rave reviews and I look forward to trying the kale salad. Burger was excellent. Great décor, service and music! Yum! Best burger I have ever had. The jalepeno poppers are hot! Really hot!

Chuck’s on Locke St. sure has their work cut out for them! Decent price. Decent size. Many unique and mouth watering options on their menu, even with the option to customize items and type of bun. I recommend the #HamOnt. Would definitely come back and try another.

If the hipster vibe doesn’t make you want to roll your eyes(unlike me, which is why I get takeout from here instead), then this place is top-notch. The best burger I’ve had in a long time. Their poutine is also excellent and is definitely big enough to share(plus their burgers are so large that under normal circumstances, your own side would be too over-indulgent). I’m a bit unimpressed by the price, though. $ 15 for a single burger(no side) seems a little high. I’d go here more often if the price was ~$ 11 pp instead.

The food was really good and the drink menu is awesome! The female waitress’ were really kind and helpful… we started our meal off with the male waiter and he was very rude and would not make eye contact with our table after our drinks being empty for over 15 minutes. We switched tables after our appetizer due to a bigger table becoming available as we felt very squished. The waiter did not seem pleased with that. I personally would have spent another $ 20-$ 30 on alcoholic beverages if the waiter had of asked if we wanted a refill or another drink… great food but the service needs improvement.

I am definitely a fan! This is my new favourite burger place in town. I like the atmosphere there and their gluten free option. Unlike many places, they have their own gluten free waffle and it was delicious. I ordered the morning glory — the burger is cooked to perfection and the sauce is great.

As taste profiles go, the burgers here are 10⁄10 amazing. They manage to get an incredible crisp edge in the burgers that seals in the flavour. And the buns are all perfect. Whenever I eat here I get the«hamont» burger(hamilton Ontario) it has a sort of bug mac sauce on it with bacon and other fixins, it is my favourite burger of all time. They also have some great appetizers, every app I’ve had has been really good, so you can’t go wrong. What a great new addition to downtown hamilton

Hambrgr is located in the middle of King William St. right beside Jackson Square. It’s very non-descriptive and it was a little hard to see that it was opened(so I had to stand outside looking like a creep trying to determine whether I would look dumb if I pulled on the door handle). The décor inside is very tasteful. There’s enough seating for roughly 40 people with 2 long tables in the middle and booths along one wall. The waitresses are very laidback and offers you the specials when ordering. I ordered the Classic Poutine and the regular Hambrgr. The poutine was yummy with REAL cheese versus the prepackaged BS — I wish it came out hotter though. The burger was very average and similar to the ones you’d find at Chuck’s Burger Bar. I would not pay that much for a burger like that again. My boyfriend on the other hand LOVED his #HamONT burger. However, he did agree that it was more like an $ 8 versus $ 13. In total our bill came to $ 50 which isn’t bad but there’s a lot of places on Locke St that I’d enjoy more with $ 50.

OK I Had the Sun. Special ‘Family Fried Chicken’? Did they fry the family for the hen? Anyway Disclaimer: I didn’t have a burger; the raison d’être for this joint. Located on King William st. Soo cool(anyone remember Reardon’s Butcher = roots) Hipster crowd — not part of the Rapscallions empire? Pseudoseedy ambience and flesh turn my crank; staff a la mode. Good ’ creative Caesars — l had fried pickle; going for the bacon Caesar next time. Now. The fried family. I mean Chicken. God Awful. Greasy dark fall away coating. Flavourless factory meat(? They should have served the family). The fries: an abomination in the eyes of the Lord!.Greasy dark limp inner limpid index finger like. Suggestion: chef go to McDonalds to learn fries; Julia Child said they were pretty good. Burgers observed looked Good albeit Dinosaurish in proportion = usual North American piggery Time to tootle along Bob.

Salt. All I could taste was salt. Went there today with my girlfriend for the first time around 5pm for dinner and did not have a good experience. Started with the onion rings for an appetizer. The onion rings themselves were fine, if a little salty, but the«house ranch dip» that they came with had the consistency of water, and barely tasted like anything. I myself got the Morning Glory with a side of sweet potato fries. The patty was a little too well done for my liking, both waffles were burnt, and the entire thing tasted like they had dumped a salt shaker on it. All I could taste was salt and charcoal. Finished about half of it before giving up. The sweet potato fries were the exact same. Covered in salt. Only ate 10 or so before giving up on those too. My girlfriend had a similar experience with the«Anything Brgr» option and another side of sweet potato fries. Both the burger and fries were way over-salted, though her burger was less salty than mine. She got through about ¾ of her burger and only a couple fries before throwing in the towel. Almost forgot to add… The morning glory comes with a fried egg on it. My egg ended up being cooked so that the yolk was as runny as possible(who the hell does that for a burger?). So when I put the top on my burger and squeezed a little after picking it up, the yolk exploded. Ended up getting all over the table because they tried to be «cool» by serving you on a cutting board and not any proper dish with a lip. That was fun. The only things stopping me from giving a 1 star, is that the service was quick and friendly, and the onion rings were ok. Considering all the good reviews maybe we just got a bad cook, but this was the experience I had.

Went to lunch here with my brother. We randomly chose to eat here — and we’re both glad we did. I ordered the deviled eggs appetizer. I was surprised at how good it was. Definitely good enough to order it again. I also had the Montezuma’s Revenge burger(with peameal bacon and a fried egg added). It was great. You could tell the beef was fresh, and it was cooked just right. The house pickled jalapeños on the burger were pretty good too. The level of attention from our server(can’t remember her name — but she had a nose ring) was just right too. Not too much, not too little. I will definitely be going back.

This place is awesome. Support local and otherswise craft brew first and foremost. Burgers are insanely good with ingredients like whiskey ketchup and burbon soaked pickles, smoked cheeses and such. Also have the chorizo stuffed jalapeño poppers are the hottest goddamm i have ever tried. And i am known for my high tolerance of heat. Be careful. I ordered this app and the excess heat made my tongue numb to all flavour for a bit. I had to drink a whole other beer just to cleanse the pallet enough to taste my burger. They must have left too many seeds in the jalapeño. But the kicker is that they are stuffed with chorizo! So tasty i just kept punishing myself by eating them one after another. Really like this place. 4 pints, 2 burgers, bacon fat popcorn(yup!) and the poppers came out to about $ 90 including the 15% tip.

Quite disappointed in the service by Julia. No check up mid-meal and felt rushed. Bland food and felt like they were trying to hard to be a corporate restaurant. Over prices for mediocrity!

Went there for dinner last night and omg the burger was amazing so juicy and yummy. I had the burger with jalapeño peppers on it, my BF had the mashup burger he said it was the bomb lol. To drink I had the burger and burbon caesar I love my Caesars so tasty and cute with the min burger slider as garnish. Me and my BF will for sure be going back

I was here last week Sunday, and I thought I’d give this a review. First off pros: Fantastic tastes, the booze infused pickles are awesome. Their burgers are also extremely tasty. They also do poutine right, using curds and not too much gravy. Also the buns are great! Now the few negatives: prices are similar to chucks but you get less over all. The burgers are too thin and the combos blow. Other then that(which I hope they work on) its one of my favourite burger places in Hamilton and could potentially beat out chucks simply because there is more room at Hambrgr then chucks.
