Awesome service, added amazing nail art for the very fair price of $ 5 and also took both me and my friend at the same time and allowed us to have a really fun side-​by –side spa morning. Would love to recommend. Also, tonnes! of shellac polish colours. Product has been on for almost a week and is holding beautifully. Great location too!

Ah, I could write a novel on how wonderful Su and her service is. Her salon has over 200 shades of shellac polish and were able to get exact shade of what I wanted from a photo. They also have a wide array of jewels and can replicate any photo you bring in.
This was my first visit. When we started the manicure, Su looked at my nails and decided she would only charge for color change because my cuticles weren’t in bad shape, but still cut my cuticles and did a meticulous job with my mani. What a refreshing change from the greedy salons I’ve been to in the past!
After my pedicure (my feet look and feel wonderful now :)) she noticed I only had boots with me, so she offered to give me her sandals– and even insisted on driving me home so I didn’t have to take a cab!
Su treated me like family. It’s obvious that she goes the extra mile to make her customers happy, and it made the difference between nice nails, and an experience I’ll be recommending to all my friends. I will definitely be back!

This is the best nail place in downtown halifax. They fit you in with no appointment or if you have one even fit you in early if they can. Great service — very detailed and professional nail shaping cannot wait to try waxing

I’ve had literally a thousand massages and nothing came close to this one. This woman is incredible! If you want to pop in and come out feeling better immediately, her strong hands will take care of you! The massage was a perfect balance between relaxation and therapy. Magic.

I had a shellack manicure with Su recently. I have been to many spas and nail salons in the Halifax over the years and this was my best experience so far for the price (very reasonable, and far superior to the common quickie nail spots). Clean professional and friendly service. Excellent attention to detail. I highly recommend!

I initially got my nails done somewhere else but wasn’t happy with the results, so I tried Su Nails based on the good reviews.
I was not disappointed. I asked for something very specific that I saw in a photo online and the young lady did a great job giving me exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love the way they look.
My only complaint is that it’s on the pricier side. Specially if you want to do a fill with shellac/​designs on top of that.
I will definitely be back. For me, it was worth the price to have them done exactly the way I wanted.

Gorgeous and brand new place. They offered lots of suggestions and even gave me a free nail design which usually costs extra. Nails turned out beautiful and at a fair price. Will be back for sure

As I’m usually a nail-​biter and seldom have nails worth prettying — once I discovered the long nails on my hands I figured it was time to do something about them! So, this brings me to my first manicure at Su Nails and Spa, whom I found when I was trolling Unilocal for a place that was handy to work.
This mother and daughter duo is as nice and charming as can be. Super friendly, helpful and chatty. The daughter worked on my hands and I opted for a simple square manicure with a natural-​tone shellac. From what I found downtown, their prices are the best for really great service in a welcoming and cheery atmosphere.
The salon is downtown, across from Bishop’s Landing — It’s bright and clean, and the ladies of downtown should definitely check them out! They’re new and absolutely worth trying! I will be back for sure!

Had a great time getting my nails done at Su Nails. They are a mother-​daughter duo with a lovely clean and bright space.
Very friendly service, I arrived a bit early and the daughter started right away! She posts all her work to Instagram under their business name and it’s simply amazing.
If you’re interested in unique nail designs I’d definitely book an appointment with the daughter. She’s very passionate and skilled. They have a ton of colours including OPI and shellac.
I just had a simple manicure with shellac polish, and her attention to detail was great. My nails are perfectly shaped and polished! Plus you get a great hand massage afterward!
Oh and best part — for my manicure and shellac it was only $ 45!
Going to make this spot my regular.
