Homewood Suites by Hilton Halifax-Downtown

This was a very nicely run place. They were on the ball with helping me with reservations and directions. Room was spacious and nice. There was a party making a lot of noise. I called front desk. It stopped very quickly. Parking rate seem a bit high for the area. Conveniently located in walking distance to lots of places and the water. Can’t ask for much more.

This hotel is awesome! From the great location, friendly staff and amazing suites– I couldn’t be happier. I arrived with my three girlfriends and we were treated like royalty the second we walked in. There was free poutine dinner and a free breakfast for us when we woke up! We also got a complimentary upgrade where we enjoyed a huge suite (1 King bed, 2 double beds and a pull out double!) overlooking the water! I will only be staying here if I stay in Halifax again!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here last weekend. The service and staff was fantastic. Friendly and helpful, everyone from the front desk staff to the cleaners we ran into. It really felt like they wanted to make your stay as relaxing and worry free as possible. The room was big, clean and comfortable. I love that it had a full kitchen, living room, king size bed and a big glass shower. They also offer a free breakfast each morning with hot and cold food. Being vegan there wasn’t as much for us but we still managed to have toast or bagels or English muffins, fresh fruit, juice and potatoes. The dining room is also very comfortable and spacious. I really was impressed with the service. Early check-​in was no problem and when we asked about late check-​out since we needed a place to keep our luggage, the girl at the front desk said we could use their luggage room instead if that was sufficient. My only disappointment was the size of the pool, very small and shallow but we lived. ;) Also a good location as it is right in Halifax, the view from our room was overlooking citadel hill. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if need be.

Very happy with Homewood Suites, rm 904 had a harbor view. Self Parking is a bit of a pain in the neck and $ 20 per day. The room was large and very quiet. Front desk staff was very helpful with directions. I would stay here again.
