Any time I need something stylishly utilitarian (my personal style) I head to the Army navy. I have a dozen field caps from this place, and a rare one featuring the Red Star. True, some weirdos hiss at me when I wear it, but I get interest in the hat, because it could be North Korean, or Soviet. Either way, cool huh?
They carry the best belts Everrrrr. I have worn army boots since I was a kid, and still do today. Fifty bucks gets you a damn good pair of boots. The satchels and book bags are a particular favorite, I have one in every color, and one that is close to 20 years old!
Its near to me, the staff are cool people (tie dye girl: P) I never walk out of there without a hat or even a scarf.
It’s where it’s at.

I went here for some safety shoes/​boots for a theatre class. All the other stores I tried did not have black steel toed shoes with the little green safety approved triangle in a women’s 7/​men’s 5 for under $ 130. I got a nice used pair here for 23 bucks — and they fit!
I didn’t have a lot of time to browse through all the cool stuff in this shop, but the sales person was helpful when I told him what I needed to find. I think I’ll definitely visit this place again to browse more thoroughly.
