Went there as we were in the area. Owner said there is no such Unilocal deal $ 15 for $ 30. Said that Unilocal called him and he offered no such deal! He was rude and a total jerk!

When I first saw the reviews of this place I was sure it was too good to be true. Their website looks a little dated and all of the pictures have this awkward no background/​bad lighting look on their website. All the reviews are fantastic, and the menu is made op of standard burger joint fare. «There’s no way these reviews are accurate» I thought. «These reviews could have been written by family members» I mused. I had to try it.
So, on our way to Toronto, my wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch before hitting the hanlon. We both had the Jr Burger and Poutine combos which come with a can of pop for $ 9.99.
The burgers are made from pure ground beef with no filler and cooked from raw per order. This makes the wait for your meal a little under ten minutes with no line, but so worth it. The texture of the burger is exactly what you want. Tender and moist, and not firm or bouncy like a harvey’s patty. Just beef and some seasoning. Simple. The buns are soft untoasted white hamburger buns with no sesame seeds. The toppings are iceburg lettuce, beefsteak tomatoes and sliced dill pickles. You can tell the owner does most of his shopping at Costco as the ingredients are actual food and not packaged and de-​oxengenated like you find at the chains. This is a very good thing.
The poutine was a generous size, well made simple french fries, proper cheese curds and old-​school brown gravy. My one complaint is that I like my cheese curds to reach room temperature before meeting the hot gravy, but that’s a small and unimportant detail to overlook.
All-​in-​all, this is the best burger in town and a very good poutine. The prices are proper, one step above McDonald’s, one step below harvey’s and high quality. The service is friendly too. The owner took the time to come check on us and have a short and polite conversation, thanking us for our business. The place is well maintained and reasonably clean. Super impressed.

Their fries are awesome as was the gravy. Friendly run family business I believe. Must go back and try their burger my son said it was awesome. I hope they have a steak on a bun ?? Best part is I can get there in about 5 minutes! Worth checking out you won’t be disappointed! Oh and the prices are reasonable.

Best burgers around! Haven’t even tried anything else, they’re so good. Heard their poutine is fantastic tho… so that’s next.

What a great one-​stop shop for healthy, delicious food. Originally dropped in to get a smoothie, use real fruit. And the portions were generous. More variety than other sandwich places, even offer frozen yogurt & ice cream.
Like a Subway, Menchies & Marble Slab all in one ;)
Saw a salad made, also good portions too.
Lots of seating, Wifi is always good, and free parking in the plaza.
