I like this place. It’s clean, the staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and the thing that bumps it up to 4 stars is the hot water. Tea is best when brewed at the correct temperature. However it is not the same temperature for every type. They know this and they brew different types of tea at different temperatures. This results in probably the best cup of tea in the city.

Great selection of teas and well presented information about each. The owners are very knowledgable and are happy to give samples and advice to help you find your new favourite in their vast tea wall. Bubble tea is great, wide choice of flavours, can be a bit slow on weekends, but that just gives you more time to browse the tea wall! They offer tea ceremonies too, which are really interesting and enjoyable.

I come here all the time! Pretty much every time I’m downtown I pop in for a bubble tea. They have a good selection of bubble tea flavours as well as different kinds of jellies. You can also get your bubble tea hot or in slush form. The woman running the shop is so friendly! She’s always smiling and usually waiting with a free sample. As for the regular tea, I’ve only bought loose tea there a few times but I’m always completely satisfied. Plus, their free tea samples are always delicious.

I have been here on a few occasions, mainly on a Saturday at noon. The shop is nice and clean with a wide variety of tea. I found the lady working each time I was there to not be very informative and slow when making tea. If you are just dropping by to pick up some tea, it is great and each tea pouch comes with a little description describing the pros of each blend. Beware that the lady working on the weekend is not very knowledgeable with the tea so she is not very helpful if you have any questions. Bön The also have tables for small groups to enjoy freshly brewed tea and bubble tea. The only drawback to this is that it can take very long to make. Also, for fans of bubble tea they did not use evaporated milk but instead used coffee mate for my green milk tea.

Owned by the nicest people that could possibly exist, this is a quaint little tea shop and store tucked away in the middle of downtown Guelph. They have an enormous selection of loose leaf teas and offer samplings if you are interested in particular ones. The reason I keep coming back here though is for the bubble tea! The tea flavor is very refreshing and fresh, nothing cloying about this stuff. I also love how they prepare their tapioca — I think they add honey or something when cooking it cause it makes them sweet! Great owners, lots of selection and great prices. What more can you ask for Unilocalers?

This is my favourite tea shop. The huge selection can be overwhelming so they’ve labeled everything with ingredients and health benefits. There are tables to sit in and have a tea, bubble tea, smoothie, or cookies infused with their teas. The owners are really nice and helpful! They also do tea classes, and have an info book on the teas thy carry. Really good quality teas — this coming from a fairly picky loose-leaf tea drinker. These folks are doing things right. Love their friendliness =) It really is the bon thé place!
