Carey’s Irish Pub

Our waitress was nice and our food came out pretty quickly. My boyfriend and I shared the pulled pork sandwich, and the chicken and shrimp curry. Both were good. However, if I had to choose between the two, I would go with the chicken and shrimp curry. The fries that came with the sandwich were spot on though!

Had a burger with poutine. Everything was perfectly cooked and the quality of food was top notch. I’ll be making a special trip to this pub again in the future.

Food is made in house, even sauces! Staff are really great! Each dish is plated with aesthetics in mind! Great for families! The salads are delicious too! Would love more vegetarian options. But it is known for wings, so I can’t expect that I guess.

Went for dinner tonight with our 2 young boys. It is a small restaurant (10 or12 tables) so we were lucky we got a seat. It was full the entire time we were there. Our waitress was great. The food quality was excellent and you should come with an appetite! HUGE portions is an understatement. Chicken wings were amazing. Fish and chips were delicious but mammoth! We left an entire piece if fish behind! Our sons kids meal could have fed us all. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for great pub food.

We overheard a gentlemen telling an out-​of-​town family where to get the best burgers in town. Since we were ready for some lunch ourselves we took the recommendation. We were not disappointed!
The pub was quaint & relaxing and the service was fast & friendly. I had the Carey’s Burger and my wife had the Fish & Chips. We sampled each other’s dishes because they both looked so good. The fish was a well-​cooked 4 oz. portion of cod and of incredible quality. Where most restaurants use more batter than needed and that’s usually very greasy, this was the exact opposite. And now the burger. This was easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. A homemade huge beef patty, thick crispy bacon and a sweet bbq sauce that seemed made from scratch. Everthing else on both entrees appeared well thought out, the kichen’s own recipes and complimentary.
Carey’s is an absolute jewel in Muskoka and we look forward to trying other dishes on their menu when we visit again and again.

Went to Carey’s, it’s a small Irish pub style restaurant. We were advised by the front desk at our hotel that this was a good place to go.
It’s not a fancy place, but the good was great!
I had the meatloaf (wrapped in bacon) and it came with mashed and veggies.
My wife had the fish and chips which was also very tasty.
Service was fast and good arrived in a timely fashion.
