Found it late, had been coming to this area for a while. The service is what I love the most, and you get some really good quality food you would pay twice as much for in Toronto. Try the pizzas and burgers and fries. Did not go with high expectations and left feeling like I should have paid more. Not a place with waiters but they often are nice enough to bring out the food if you dine inside, which is kind of them. They have earned my loyalty :)

Dropped by for a lunch bite. Fish and chips are mediocre. Too much batter for my liking, though the fish fillet itself was good and juicy(not dry like some other places) Cheeseburger is an awesome deal @ $ 3.75 and it’s full size, not a mini of any kind. I recommend it. Decent size joint and older, appear to be run my a wife/husband duo who are friendly and cheerful. Not a fancy joint but worth the quick dip in

Been going there for a few years. Always had pizza which is very good. But recently moved on to other menu items of which there are many. Hand packed burgers, poutine(now with real cheese curd), fried chicken, subs, salads! Chicken very good but sometimes too dry. Fries are awesome and poutine unbelievable. Burgers home made but again maybe a little dry. If you ask they might cook to your taste The winner — mama Mia lasagna! $ 9.50 if memory serves. Homemade, with meatballs, pepperoni and sausage. Enough for two, maybe three. O, and two pieces of yummy garlic bread. Go!

This place caused a stir in Gananoque when it opened some years ago. Before they came to being, there were two long-established places in Gan to get a pizza. One of the places closed down at 11:00pm, so if you were looking for a quick bite after work or a night in one of the Gananoque bars, your choices were limited. Enter Milano’s. The place still stands today despite a break-up in partnership and even a mysterious bombing incident, and it still serves out some of the best food in Gananoque. It’s reasonable. It’s simple. It’ll come to your door. Pizzas and subs they sell with aplomb, but the two menu items that stand out are the bacon-double cheeseburger(real bacon, real hamburgers made there) and the poutine. Know this that the poutine is not authentic in that it is made with shredded mozzarella and not cheese curd. I know. That’s not how you make real poutine, but suck it up. There is so much cheese and gravy that have melted, combined and penetrated the fries, you’ll be able to stick a fork in it and hold it like an umbrella. Eat it like slices of Tortierre pie. You’ll like.
