My wife is an artist and has decided to make all our own Halloween decorations this year –
She has done some small scale sculpting, but this time she wanted to do casts — and SSC was the source of the materials.
Not only are they well stocked with everything you need for sculpture supplies, the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
They guided my wife through what she needed, how much, and even provided directions on how to achieve what she wanted to do.
the end results is some fabulous custom masks and props at a reasonable price with some great knowledge thrown in!
They products these guys have blow away the stuff sold at Micheals’ or other «art supply stores» bith in quality and price. it is worth it to travel there from the east end!
Their hours are a little bit difficult for non full time artists though — m-​f 9 – 5 and Sat 9 to 1 pm – and they are located in a very industrial part of Etobicoke — although its walk-​able from Kipling subway.
Overall — sculpturists from beginner to pro should give these folks some attention!
