Meandering back from business in Port Alberni, I stopped off at this eclectic café, in Errington(almost Parksville). Was between lunch and dinner, so enjoyed a home made scone, plus good roasted coffee. A fun place, and had the feel of a regulars drop-in locale… a copier pushed up against one wall, a screen showing CNN on deaf script mode, bakery display cases, menu on a wall blackboard(nice lunches, suggested, including a boxed picnic lunch)…seating on outdoor patio, for summer enjoyment. Would definitely return. Owner said they were moving to another location, on the main highway between Coombs and Parksville, it seemed… not sure about that, but she will be in new location by end of October. Try to catch this fun space right now… a sort of a time tunnel, and very nice indeed.
