Growing up, Thursday nights were always out«order out night», and living in the middle of nowhere we had few options as to what to order. Thankfully, Ozzie’s is right down the street from my parent’s place and their pizza is amazing. Be warned — it’s not for the faint of heart. Giant slices, tons of cheese and flavourful sauce are definitely not great for the arteries. They made a mean poutine as well, and their wings are good too. Delivery’s never more than 45 minutes, and the staff are friendly and all about the local community. In the summer they have an ice cream window and a patio that’s fairly new where you can sit and watch the happenings on Osgoode Main Street. Osgoode is lucky to have this place, and it’s been around since before we moved there in ’97, so I trust it will stay there for awhile. If you’re in the city’s south end and hankering for some greasy pizza, get yourself to Ozzie’s and enjoy.
