I’ve gone here for a quick cut several times on the way home from work (my hair is very low maintenance — it grows a little, I cut it all off). The owner/​barber is a really nice guy and has offered to stay open late when I’ve arrived late and even offered to let me pay him the next day once when I forgot cash (I didn’t take him up on it, my wife was able to quickly run and get cash while I got my haircut). The place is cash only, $ 14 for a basic men’s cut — quite cheap.
The cuts themselves have been serviceable. He’s very fast (my hair can be cut mostly with clippers, and it takes him ~10 minutes). If I needed my hair to look great or be styled for a special occasion this place wouldn’t be on my list, but for a quick, cheap, reasonable cut from a really nice guy, I’m happy to keep coming here.

Prices are now $ 14 and $ 12. Inflation, I’m told. XL Barber Shop still offers good value for money. Recommended.
