Where Faeries Live is now nestled just west of Calgary Trail on 79^th Ave, next to Sun Ski Shop. Free street parking is a bonus, & they have a small lot out back.
Despite it’s new location and humble façade, I can assure you the new owner, Debra will make you feel right at home. She is passionate about her business and everything she carries in store.
She has a varied and unique selection of crystals and rocks, which are displayed neatly and clearly labelled with names and prices.
This is also the first shop in Edmonton (that I know of) to have all stones purchased listed on the sales receipt, which is super helpful if needing to re-​identify stones when you get home.
In addition to stones, you can find an assortment of books, wiccan items, candles, decorations & of course, faerie related pieces.
Although smaller in terms of selection than similar new age stores in town, what it lacks in size is made up for with Debra’s impeccable customer service and kindness! (Bumps this review from 3* to a 4!) I will be sure to visit again.

I visited Where Faeries Live for the first time today and I can tell you I will definitely be going back.
First, clearly the owner takes great pride in her store. Everything is so neat and organized. This is the first store I’ve been to where all the stones are clearly, accurately labeled and priced. I thought it was such a great idea to have the stones contained in clear jars complete with lids which minimizes the chance that someone will take one out to look at and end up putting it in the wrong spot when they’re done with it — it seems that’s a common way some shops become disorganized.
Debra, the owner, is very knowledgeable and inviting. While we were there she did not push anything on us to up sell, she simply let us take our time and enjoy our visit to the maximum. The fact that she’s in it for the love of all mystical things and not to rob naïve people is enough on its own to keep me coming back.
The quality of the stones in WFL is brilliant. I was able to find things here that I’ve never seen before, or even heard of. The prices per stone were reasonable and there’s something for every budget it seems.
Great selection of wiccan and pagan supplies and books. They also carry some beautiful corsets and outfits. Something worth mentioning is that currently there is a psychic medium who works out of this store one day per month.
