Nice place to chill and hangout! Best Bubble Tea Edmonton, Period. What I meant best bubble tea is, they have the best bubble, or pearl, or tapioca, whatever u call. Soft inside, Chewy, right amount of sweet. also the tea, i personal only drink bubble tea with real TEA in it, their tea taste good and fresh. very nice place to chill with friends, or just study with a cup of tea in hands. btw there are power plugs near every seat. cons? they offer too little choice of board game compared to their other location

Taiwan Bubble Tea is the latest addition to Edmonton’s slew of bubble tea places to chill and have your favorite flavor of sweet, sweet tapioca drink. It is actually located right before its competitor Dream Tea House in the Heritage location. For a group of four on a Friday night after dinner, the joint is not that busy, but it steadily gains more customers the later it gets. We are given 2 tablets to scroll through(a 7 part!) menu. It is overwhelming to say the least! We note that the tablets already look a little beat up and we were concerned for hand hygiene — joking that we really should have those little hand sanitizer bottles from Bath and Body Works on hand. You know, the ones that come in a million flavors. Anyhoo, I order a matcha green tea with tapioca — hot. The man orders a matcha and red bean green tea with tapioca — cold. They both come in the same plastic bubble tea cup where you punch the top with your fat straw. I was surprised as most bubble tea places now pour your hot drinks in a cardboard cup with a lid. Good thing it was a cold night and we sat near the door — I didn’t have to worry about my hot drink scalding my tongue through the straw! Otherwise I have to note that the matcha was pretty good, it didn’t taste artificial and it was a satisfyingly big cup. The tapioca bubbles were big and chewy(not gooey). You can pick one up for yourself for a refreshing(or hot!) $ 5.
