Pretty disappointed. Got the flyer in my door one day. Tonight decided to order. The guy over the phone messed up the order with two combos but only giving one pop. Which was fine as the delivery man who was very kind offered to replace two pops on our next order. I took the food upstairs and the burgers, onion rings and wings are stone cold. Took the full 45 minutes to get here. Tried to call and the first guy said «that’s okay. I’ll let them know» and I ended up hanging up as its not okay to deliver cold food. Called back to speak to a manager. And they called us back and wouldn’t make things right by sending up hot food. Kept saying «my friend it’s always fresh» being fresh is not the problem. It’s the fact that the food arrived cold. It’s sweet that it’s fresh but we just wish it was hot and edible. But the «manager» didn’t understand that we were trying to get at the food being ice cold. Will not order again. Be aware when ordering

Friendly, helpful service. Affordable and delicious pizza and their donairs are very good as well! The homemade fries are worth a try too.

There were menus from maximo’s left in my apartment lobby 4 days ago, normally I’m not one to save up menus, on my way out that day I grabbed one put it in my purse. I just ordered (delivery) a jumbo donair with fries and gravy. the donair was delicious, best I’ve ever had in my life, excellent service and great prices. oh and the fries and gravy were good too.

I thought I would give the place a go and tried a donair, I was not expecting much but it was one of the best donairs I’ve ever had in Edmonton, and inexpensive to boot! Would recommend!

The first time I stepped in to Maximo’s was very interesting. There was a drunk guy waiting at the counter for his pizza but at least he was very friendly. He told us the meat lover’s pizza was fantastic; even though we didn’t go for that one on that particular visit, I have to admit that their pizza quality surprised me not in a bad way. Their ingredients were fresh and their pizza was surprisingly not greasy. The only criticisms I have was that it was a little bland for my taste.
I also didn’t like the fact that they offered us dried and parmesan cheese in a can from the grocery store instead of freshly grated which would have made all the difference in the world.
The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive to our needs.
I could have done without the overbearingly loud and uncensored hip hop music video channel but when you’re located beside a bar on Jasper Avenue, I suppose things could be worse.
Kudos to Maximo’s for having late night hours.

Stopped into Maximo’s Pizza & Donair after the Edmonton Opera for a late night bite (almost 1130PM) on our way home. They are located on Jasper Avenue right next to Buddy’s Bar.
The staff were friendly and informative and let us know they changed ownership last month (new owners are from Queen Donair).
We opted for a Super Donair with Cheese and a Mexican Pizza.
The Super Donair wasn’t the tiniest bit greasy — 2 thumbs way up! BUT we hardly noticed the sweet sauce or hot sauce we requested. They make the donair in the back as opposed to right in front of you so you can say more of this, less of that, etc.
The Pizza was qutie good but again — described as having some spice, it did not. They happily provided us with a chili pepper shaker to shake away. And the pizza was not greasy at all.
I would absolutely come in here again for a late night bite! Only downside was when they opened the door at one point, the wafting marijuana and cigarette smoke came pouring in. Fortunately, there were a couple of extremely drunk girls also waiting for a pizza that threw a royal fit so I didn’t have to say a word — they doors were closed moments after being opened.
The prices are a tad higher than what I’m accustomed to but that being said, I agree with Unilocaler Andrew M. who noted mega bonus points for being open late!
I’m sure I’ll be seeing you after another late night show in no time for another donair!

Amazing food! Decent prices, and lots to choose from! The location is in the heart of Jasper ave, an upcoming area in downtown mainly focused with pubs and restaurants. this location is open late hence why it’s so good!

Fantastic poutine. They could use a better patty for their burgers but the other ingredients were very fresh. Good price.

Ordered from their online website. was charged for my order, waited 30 mins past the delivery time, only to find out that they claim they don’t deliver past midnight on weekends. Their website clearly states that they deliver till 3:00 am. Paid for the order online, and was told i had to email another company to receive my refund. TERRIBLE customer service. WILL NOT ORDER from this restaurant again. Not only spoke to employees, but spoke to the owner as well.

Wasn’t expecting much from this late night pizza joint I always walk past but have never tried.
But we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the pizza was. Really yummy. Definitely will be back.

Best Pizza on Jasper ave and it’s open till 4am on Fri & Sat. Staff is really friendly and the prices are great. Highly recommend

I’ve only ever had the donair, which was pretty solid, but it gets mega bonus points for being open late and a block from my place.

Prices are good, however the food is terrible. Their salad is disgusting, all the veggies are soggy and the gravy is beyond gross. I will never be ordering here again. Biggest donair joke ever.
