Always friendly at this location. I recently ordered 4 dozen ice cream sandwiches in lieu of a birthday cake. The sandwiches were a huge hit, easy to serve, and large portions.

When I’m craving ice cream, this is what I crave. Always. When my favorite flavour isn’t in(apple spice, if you must know), there’s always some solid back ups! Carrot cake? Yum. Birthday cake? Yum. Mango? Yum. Just yum. It’s a bit pricey, but if you sign up for their emails, they regularly have coupons available. There is no reservation system, so you just line up and wait. It’s been nice since they raised their prices a bit(not too much, though) that you can get unlimited mixins(items like chocolate chips, fruit, coconut, candy and beyond) now included with the price, and not just the first one. The staff can be kind of hit and miss, and if they don’t break up the cookie dough enough you end up with a weird ice cream to mixin ratio per bite, but overall it’s highly enjoyable and a nice treat. It’s open year round(my friends and I have been known to go in winter! No lines!), and also do ice cream sandwiches, birthday cakes, cupcakes and have take away pints and minis for when you don’t want to go out later.

Wow, I can’t believe how much prices have gone up. I haven’t been into one of these establishments for a few years. But today was so hot that I was craving an ice cream cone. It just so happened I was doing business next door to the marble slab. I was thinking more in terms of a drive thru because I know that it’s hard to carry anything back to the van when I’m in a wheelchair. But I thought I would get a cup of something. I saw a display that showed cones and bowls and it showed $ 1.40 which I assumed was for the smallest. Perfect. The girl asked what I wanted and I said a small bowl of double dark chocolate. It held about three scoops and then she asked what I wanted on it. I said nothing, just ice cream. She rang it up and said $ 5.49. I said are you sure? She said yes. I asked about the sign that said $ 1.40. I think she said that was for something else. I left thinking that I’ll never be going back there again. Nothing against this particular location but I was extremely sad to see such outrageous prices.

Sooooo bad! I ordered a swiss chocalate with chor ice cream cake. When I took it back, there is no chocalate bar, no nuts, no chocalate whip at all. It tastes terrible, just like 5 bucks nestle ice cream, not a ice cream cake. I will choose DQ for sure next time. Totally bad store!

This location is in the Terra Losa strip mall; closer to Second Cup. I went in to this location one night as I was craving some ice cream; I really love that you can create you own ice cream combinations! It kind of makes me feel like I work for Ben & Jerry’s as their«ice cream inventor» Hahaha. This location is very inviting as the inside is bright, cheery & warm; the employees I’ve come across the few times I’ve gone have always been friendly and are always good for suggestions! I will admit that the ice cream is a bit pricey, but I found the price to be worth it for how delicious it is as with how much you get. Would definitely go again… I kind of want some right now! :D

Overpriced. I’d rather buy a box of Run ‘n Raisin from Safeway and eat away. But ice cream is always good, and if I get a 2-for-1 deal, I buy all I can. My favourites are Blueberry, Caramel and Rum. Beware if you usually eat organic strawberries, the strawberries here have a chemical taste like regular non-organic strawberries, so chose another fruit mixin’ if you care about that.

I love how coupons come in the mail for Marble Slab and you can enjoy the second cone for 99 cents. This time I didn’t have a coupon but wanted to have a cool treat on a warm day. There were ice flavours that sounded yummy but I decided for the mango yogurt with a mixin of raspberries. A fan of fruit flavours, I would have liked it a little more mango flavour but likely wasn’t sweeter because it was low fat. There were many raspberries to enjoy. There was a deal if you purchased a large, you could get 3 mixins so my husband enjoyed his coffee ice cream with a variety of chocolate bars mixed in. The total came to just over $ 10 which is pricey but it’s not an everyday treat. I’m assuming it was the owner and he was pleasant and gave us a coupon for buy one get one to enjoy for our next visit.

Holy portion size! I do really like this place, the ice cream is nice and I like the fact that I get choose my own mixings and cone etc. But like I said I ordered a small and couldn’t finish even half of it. It was calorific! But too calorific.

Been going to this place consistently since it’s opened. Perfect place to grab an ice cream during those hot summer days/nights. Especially when you have buy 1, get 1 free coupons! Went on a Monday evening after dinner and had a medium«french toast» ice cream(tastes a bit like caramel but not as sweet obviously) and mixed in a Ferroche Rocher chocolate. My friend had bubble gum mixed with nerds. Love how you can combine anything in your ice creams! For two medium ice creams with our coupon, only cost $ 6! Steal. Love me some deals.

I like my ice cream and desserts. Marble Slab has not only an excellent selection of flavors but a wide variety of toppings too! The prices are a bit higher but definitely worth it!

I concider myself somewhat of an ice cream king. If its ice cream, ill eat it or if someones making it, ill try it. marble slab is probably THE best i’ve tried. you can get either a SM, MED or LRG with as many toppings as you can fit. the creamery makes all its stuff fresh and they mix the ingredients you should chose to add dirrectly in to your ice cream. they mix it on a chilled marble slab and then serve. its very fresh, very creamy and very very tasty. i’d recomend it to any ice cream lover. TIP: get the«birthday cake» flavor.

It was crazy hot the weekend I was in Edmonton so a few of us came in for ice cream. I’ve always thought Marble Slab was ridiculously expensive for average ice cream, and this location fits in my with previous experience. The ice cream is okay with a nice selection of flavors. There’s some frozen yogurt if you’re trying to be healthy. It’s fun to pick out the toppings you want them to mix in with your ice cream and have it served how you like. But 10 minutes later and $ 7 poorer with my Almond Joy and Reese bits ice cream in a dipped waffle bowl eaten, I’m a bit dissatisfied with my purchase. Maybe it’s a sign of bad taste, but I’m always much happier with DQ peanut buster parfait :)

If you’re used to the traditional ice cream stores serving you ice cream, Marble Slab with slap you in the face and change your perspective. There is literally a million ways to customize your ice cream. There are a lot of flavors, plus any kind of mix combination you have your heart set on. Want Oreos with Smarties? They’ll do that. Cookie dough with Berries? They’ll do that too. With all of their toppings, you can have a different ice cream experience each time you’re there. On a diet? Their low-fat yogurt is available for the few health conscious of us out there. Expect to be paying a price with all of these fancy flavorings though. A cone with one scoop can easily be over $ 7. If you’re stuck for what to order, they always have a great list from their ‘Most Popular’ items. Watching them mix your ice cream with the extra toppings on the cold marble slab is like a show itself too. Personally, I enjoy mixing their«Apple ‘N’ Spice» with Cheesecake with cookie dough– it’s just like eating apple cheesecake, and there are chunks of apple in the ice cream! Regardless your personal choice, Marble Slab will keep you happy.
