Insight Lendrum Women’s Imaging

I’ve gone to this location twice for my pregnancy ultrasound since moving to the South Side as it’s more convenient and my doctor had made the appointments.
It is located in a little strip mall off of 51^st Avenue, has plenty of parking and is fairly bright as with clean on the inside.
My biggest complaints are the wait times and staff; I don’t understand the concept of making an appointment for a specific time only to have to wait for 1 hour or 1 ½ hours after your appointment to see someone. I also don’t appreciate when you finally get to see the ultrasound tech, they, after close to an hour tell you that they’re a practicum student and need to have another tech come in to make sure they’re doing it right only for the tech to take another hour of your time because the other person didn’t do any of it correctly… not to mention both the tech and practicum student causing pain by pushing way too hard in to my stomach with the equipment, literally causing me to have a sore stomach for days afterwards.
The only saving grace for the second star, was my last appointment, the tech was extremely pleasant to deal with, was gentle on my stomach and even apologized profusely after hearing about my past experience here.
If I ever require an ultrasound or other type of service they offer, I definitely won’t be back to Insight Lendrum Women’s Imaging.

This team has a great wealth of knowledge.
This centre has technologist who really care about their clients health! I was so impressed with how well they look after everyone. You are welcomed with a warm smile and leave with a with both a hug a smile.

So, it’s only fair that I do a follow-​up review of my latest visit to Insight Lendrum Women’s Imaging. Today’s experience was fantastic! Well… as fantastic as a mammogram can be…
The now-​not-​so-​new space is still clean, peaceful, and relaxing. The automated reminder is still a great thing. The front-​end staff are still fast and friendly — I mean how can you go wrong when a new trainee is named Sunshyne! Right?! After getting changed into my gown, I’m sure I didn’t wait for two minutes for the technician, Marilyn, to come and get me. Marilyn was wonderful and just as great as the other 13 out of 14 technicians I’ve experienced there. She was professional, yet friendly, and obviously knew what she was doing. Before I knew it I was out of there without a single bruise and hardly embarrassed at all!
Although I did thank Marilyn, I want to thank her again here. Knowing that someone like her is on the other end, I won’t be nervous about going for my next mammogram. Again… as relaxed as one can be going for a mammogram… ;-).
My faith in Lendrum Women’s Imaging has been restored and now I’m happy to say that I can’t say enough nice things about the place!
